Looks like I got a break from the painting and will make C&C on Saturday. This time I'll be taking the Grand Sport Corvette.
Hi Tim! Thanks for the email. See you Saturday. I brought a surprise back from Vegas but it won't be ready to go yet.
Damn, I wish I ready this sooner ... I figured that today would hae been a light day at C&C ... I was just hanging around the house doing nothing. Tim, it say's you are in Marketing? the company I work for is in the Interactive Marketing industry as well (mostly internet based Marketing) ... what is it that your company does?
It was a very light meet but to be honest, it was just what I would have expected considering the holiday weekend. Looking forward for the next meet and have a Happy Holiday everyone! Be safe please and don't let friends drive wasted! ALi
Yes, a little light due to the holiday, but it was good to see those who were able to make it. I hope you all had a great July 4th holiday. I've posted some of the pictures I took this morning at my Photobucket account: http://s43.photobucket.com/albums/e352/350D2006/CC%20and%20C%20-%20July%204/ Brad
Great pics Brad! It was great to meet everyone and spend the morning talking cars. I have a feeling the next gtg will be much larger. Miro
Here are my amateur pics of the event...http://www.flickr.com/photos/tornador32/sets/72157620877597567/ Miro
I'm more of an economist, market research, strategic planning consultant. But I have nearly semi-retired from that field and only serve about a half dozen long-standing accounts. Much of my time now is involved in managing a merchant bank/investment holding company with far-flung ventures in real estate, banking, and private equity investments.
Cool ... oddly enough, that sounds a lot like what the former owner of our company did. He grew the company, but is now investing privately. In any case, the Lime Green P-Car is sweet ... can't get more "out there" then Lime Green. I need to figure out how to start my own business, because everyone I ever know or read about with awesome car collections is in business for themselves ...
When is the next Cleveland Cars & Coffee?!? If it's not this weekend, would anyone want to get together this weekend anyway? I'll be in town.
Hello All, My mom lives in Strongsville. I am contemplating bringing up the Merak in September if I am finished sorting things out by then. It would be fun to hook up with you guys and talk octane. Ciao, George
I, for one, would love to see the Merak. I have never seen one in person. Bring it out asap and if you want any help sorting it out I would be willing to make the trip to Strongsville.
I just want to see interesting cars! Last time was a very nice mix...but no Ferraris! The Lamborghini\Viper\Porsche\Vette groups were in force...not a single prancing horse in sight. Are you guys gonna take that?
Really nothing major to speak of at this point as far as sorting things out. I just have a few things to do including a leakdown test and doing a brake job on it. If you would like to see the car I have a number of postings and pictures in the Maserati section under "I'd like to see some Meraks". Ciao, George
With any luck then, there will be TWO Meraks -- the reason I'm going to Cleveland is to diagnose and rectify a poor running condition on a 1975 Merak. If I can take care of it in time, I'm sure the owner will make an appearance. At this point, though, something came up during the week, and I'm not sure whether I will get to Cleveland soon enough . . . will know in a few days... - T
Forecast for Saturday is 70 degrees with slight chance of rain...we'll see. Meanwhile, anyone who wants to cross post a reminder to 6speed, the corvette forum, the viper forum, the ford gt forum, etc. can only help!! Thanks... Bob
