Always difficult to see the final design.. But it would be really interesting to hear the engine noise!

Perhaps, I wonder if the openings on the exterior of the lamps are outlets.

With 4,5 l displacement it is probably normally aspirated, also to standardise on engine versus the California. But the 3 exhaust tubes do remind of the F40 with the waste-gate from the turbo in the centre

Could be feeding airflow across the front fender sweep, through the V-shaped space between the side mirror arm and the a-pillar, to funnel the air along the top belt line into the rear air intakes... whew, I think Ferrari are going surprise us all with their aerodynamically sculpted front end treatment.

Looks like our new little F-car is going to have some stiff competition. I think this new F-whatever is going to kill this PP11 car on many levels.

I don't like the fact that while the car is smaller, the cabine looks veryyy big.Enzo has that problem too, in some positions.Look at p11 mclaren.....the cabine narrows after the doors, giving the rear flanks a very powerful look.(the mclaren p11 is fully reavealed, and i have no doubt that this is close to the real thing)

And I don't like when aerodynamics are prior to the looks. Jeremy Clarkson was right, ferrari's are to serious now!Less crazyness, less art, less beauty.More math, more aerodynamic, more science, more data, more stupid looks!

If they start to cut small aero things near headlights, and here and there ......Look at f1 cars. When aerodynamics were not so important cars look grate!! Now they aren't!

But we might see the car very soon now!Remember when Califronia test cars begin to run with full body underneath the camouflage, after short time we saw it!

Seeing as F-450 is already taken, what will the new car actually be called?

I don't see there's much of a chance that Ford/Ferrari would both have an F-450.

(and, no....that isn't me taking the photo.....)

Yes that would be confusing ;)

For those who can't tell a Ferrari GTO from a Pontiac.

What is also interesting is that Frank Stephenson is now with McLaren and doing the design work on their cars. I am assuming he was somewhat involved with the 450 prior to going to McLaren and should have a pretty good reference point. After all the 360 got a lot of McLaren Cues in its styling.

I think it would be great if they called it the F-458. The F for Ferrari, the 45 for 4.5 liters, and the 8 for number of cylinders like the good ol' days!

I dunno man, what they primarily took from the F1 was the front twin radiators which lead to some visual similarity because of the location and function. Also, I'm glad Frank is gone, he comes up with a brilliant idea and then kills it with poor attention to detail.

Ahh! cant wait to hear it see it w/o the camo.

I can understand the headlight (matching the trend in headlight and eyelines)
whats that duct next to the headlights

but I agree with the few who mentioned it before,
as long as it doesn't show too much similarities of the Cali, I'll be satisfied

What makes you think it will be 4.5L, everyone seems to keep saying F450 but I reckon it will be 4.7L & based on the new Mazerati 4.7L block - then it could be F470, either way I don't care what it is called, we just know it will be a big jump in every department over the F430.

I actually like the change in proportion -- That's where the future of cars is going and the Ferrari will have cutting edge proportions. It appears to be a reflection of the Mille Chile Concept and it will only help in the place that counts most: Dynamics.

While I agree that technology can get in the way of emotion (as Clarkson said), last year's F1 cars -- with all their winglets and organic curves -- were spectacular looking. It's like how bicycles and buildings are reflecting organic structures of nature rather than just tubes and boxes. Cars are adopting similar ideas and, to me, there's a "technical beauty" to the thinking.

That said, I hope this has that "technical beauty." We've seen lots of details and we've seen the proportions but a lot rides on the shape of that front end!
