One of the mechanics is Tino Martignoli (sp?) wwho was partially responsible for Ferrari's first win in Rome. The 125 sports spun a bearing in practice, and it was changed at Tino's shop! Tino later came to the US as a mechanic on the Indy car team. He later opened a Ferrari repair shop in Hollywood!!

I found this picture today while looking through some old magazines. This is from "Auto Age", March 1956, photo credit to Dan Rubin. I believe it's 0347AL , a Ghia-bodied 375 America, displayed at the Turin Show in 1955. If I'm wrong, please correct me.

Tony Brooks is the driver in the last one, which indicates Reims or Avus 1959.

In Nathan's photo, Phil Hill is behind Hawthorn and Peter Collins is 2nd from left.

On the "Connie" location, I'd say Laguardia, NY.

I'm curious - how does one identify the difference between 0347AL and 0476AM?

I'm not sure, but the third and fourth guys from the left could be Deo and Nerio Seligardi.

    Hi Paul
Looking at the winners laurels I would guess Avus - it appears to be written in German, although I'm no expert.
