Serious question not joking here. I've heard rumors that Michael Jackson owned a 288GTO that was still in great condition. If that were true how much would the car be worth now that he's passed on & just the fact that it was his car.

I've also heard he owned a red 430.

    It was a 308 or 328 IIRC.

It's so hard not to crack a joke here... But IIRC as was said before, it was a 308.

Pepsi apparently gave him a Straman Testarossa convertible that he used in the the commercials years ago.

I see a Countach, some American car, a 308, and a Daytona...and 6 Jacksons, so not sure who own(s)(ed) what...

(this is out of the memorial program)

(I also get a kick out of the Confederate flag on two of the driving suits)

Tito needs to stay away from the Cheeseburgers. That racing suit is a little snug. He should have included a pair of tube socks--if you know what I mean.

Access Hollywood says he has 75 cars and will talk about it on 7/10.
I'm not sure how in depth the show will go with his cars but its a general look at his assets.

The guy that bought one of the companies I worked for (praise the lord!) was an Fcar enthusiast and Tito or Jermaine were always in his office. IIRC they had the bulk of the cars, MJ never drove.

Cool picture! I see the Daytona Spider, a Countach and a 308 in the background. Nice to know he had and enjoyed Ferraris.

he also says: "here were very, very few authentic 456 Spyders made. Only a handful for the Sultan of Brunei. (He also has the only White 288 GTO, which must be amazing)."

Isn't the white GTO owned by a British gentleman?

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to take this guy's word with a grain of salt.

About 2 years ago, I was looking to buy a hardtop Corniche, and found a black one for sale on the Sunset Strip. My budget was around 30k for a really nice example.

It was a 1975 Corniche "Turbo", and 30k would have been more than generous for that car. The current owner was asking $100k.

When I asked what the $70k premium on the car was for, he said that Michael Jackson was the original owner. Remember, this was at the lowest point of Jacko's career, and paying an extra $70k because Jackson had once owned the car seemed ridiculous. I offered a little under $40k for the car and was turned down.

The car is STILL for sale, and I'm sure the owner is now asking DOUBLE for it because of Jacko's death.

The point is, any "Jackson" car will now command a significant amount more than what logic would dictate.

Is it worth it? Only time will tell.

Anything that was owned or signed by Michael would have probably doubled or trippled in value by now, Wheather it's worth it or not. Anything that is/was associated with his name will always be worth alot, which is probably why everyone that worked for him blead him dry.
