The main goal is to cut a few lbs but I also am looking for better stamina (soccer) and a better overall athletic ability. Im 24, never really worked out before, dont really know waht im doing etc... I know diet is a huge part of it and im working on that slo but this is about the workouts only :D

At the end of a weight session i feel like I could/should do more. Should i do more or is the A and B days enough? It only takes like 20 minutes or so... thats why I added the calf raises, crunchs, and the heavy bag... Should i add more?

    Monday
    HITT Running – 30 minutes

    Tuesday
    Weights
    Weighted calf raises 3 x 15?

    Wednesday
    HITT Running – 30 minutes

    Thursday
    Weights
    Bicycle crunches 3 x 20

    Friday
    HITT Running – 30 minutes

    Saturday
    weights
Hitt style punching bag – 15 minutes

    Sunday
    rest

Weights are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday alternating between A and B. One week will look like a,b,a then the next week will be b,a,b

    A day
    squat 3x5
    bench 3x5
    deadlift 1x5

    B day
    squat 3x5
    standing overhead press 3x5
    powercleans 5x3

It looks good overall. But are you not planning on doing any upper body lifting?

    Bench and OH press?

Anyways, I can't really comment on that routine because your goals are a lot different than mine, but I will say that if you're a beginner, you're not going to stand a chance with power cleans. I consider myself an intermediate lifter, and even I struggle with this lift. It's almost something that requires a coach.

Did you mean HIIT or is HITT something different? How far/long are you running, at what speeds?

Pretty sure he meant HIIT, High Intensity Interval Training. Not sure what HITT is?

Not bad, I prefer a bike to running as Ive twisted my ankle several times and dont want to do that again

1 important thing is to always change your workout a little to shock your body, if you always do the same workout your body will get used to it and you wont progress

    yes i ment HIIT

    Its roughly 30 minutes

    3 min = jog
    30 sec = run
    45 sec = walk
    1:15 = jog
    30 sec = run
repeat without the 3 minutes at the begining :D

Also, i do want to get a bike. Im 230ish lbs right now and i dont want any joint damage long term. I will still run every once in a while though.

Same here....I fractured my back when I was a kid and it's always bothered me ever since to run. Not pain, just feel awkward and it gets worse the older I get.

So what are everyone’s thoughts on not feeling "worked out" after a workout?

I get done with the 3 items for day A or B and i feel like i could easily keep going with more excursuses (not weights, i max out on those). So I add the calf raises and/or some crunchs but I still feel like i could or should do more.

How do you know if your overdoing it?

My experience is if you're not feeling it afterwards you're not working hard enough. Try one session where you increase your time and weight by ~15%. See how you feel afterwards. That should help take you to the next level.
