    I like some of the list, but there seems to be too many recent cars. The Audi R8 while a great car is surely not one of the major influences of today's sports car market. I think the Countach has more influence on today's cars than the Miura, and the C4 vette probably has more influence on today's domestic sports cars than the new vette.
    The new one is obviously superior, but which was more influential?
    I'd put the 240Z and the Lotus 7 on the list personally.

    Id completely agree with you. I'd argue vs many of the cars on the list.
