Lung, your car sounded really wicked just now as you exited onto Alexandra Rd. Good to have caught up with you after all this while. wh
A few owners had the opportunity to meet with, feedback to and listen to Ital Auto (Komoco). A very good session where their ideas and vision were shared. Present today were the main players from Ital Auto... Teo Hock Seng (who chaired the meeting), Dennis Yang and Nick Syn. I think the anxiety, tension and anticipation of the future of the Ferrari marque in Singapore has dissipated. My opinion is that Ital Auto is a very professionally run company. The players involved have a deep history or passion for the car industry. Basically, they know their stuff. Topics discussed today included: F1, servicing, a Club House , events, support, drives, the owners club, etc. I was sufficiently impressed to go away assured that our marque is in good hands. To borrow a phrase that I am familiar with... The Best Is Yet To Be
Thanks! Ya it was good catching up after 3 years (at least). You will be taking over a good car. Owner takes care of his cars.
Kool .. certainly sounds like they want to be involved in the after sales process (including the owners club) which is great to hear .. the club house in particular sounds interesting. I've got lunch with them on Monday so will report back if there is anything else to add. How long did they anticipate it will take them to be up & running .. and what's the status on warranty servicing? Does HSM still have factory support in that regard until Ital Auto have facilities in place? you selling your Scud?
The official handover is 12 July (tomorrow) at midnight. But as THS said... they don't have any equipment. I guess we still go to HSM for now. Not sure how we claim warranty. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the monday lunch.
Nope. I am only beginning to learn and enjoy my car. I was referring to someone else's car.. i normally don't speak in the 3rd person
I agree with your assessment. Thanks. Hope to join the Singapore F-Chatters soon on one of those drives/kopi sessions/etc that I have been reading about here in the past years.
I know. Been a lurker all these years and have enjoyed tremendously reading all the posts on this thread..... Trying to make up for lost time mah.
I've got 6 months left on my warranty so I certainly hope I am not disadvantaged by this change over .. as I'm sure there are things needed doing before it expires. I won't be a happy camper if I am.
At the end of the day if the handover is tom, I guess IA will be responsible. "Pay first claim later?"
