I saw that CS Tuesday lunchtime on Lockhart. Gorgeous sound. Everyone in the restaurant turned to look out the window.
If anyone wants to see the ford GT its down at Automall wan chai. The dealer also has 3 scuderias and a 16M, one scud is in rosso mugello and wow that looks really nice.
Thanks for the heads up. I went down there a couple of months back and couldn't believe how much exotic machinery they had compared to about a year ago. Highlight for me was the left-hooker E30 M3 in red. That still there? Nice Diablo mate!
Here is a top ten of the worlds most expensive exotic car crashes (attached). Does anyone know about the Zonda crash in HK? (hence I decided to put it in this thread!) Not sure the attributed values are all that correct either...higher or lower. Heartbreaking some of them! Enjoy PAUL Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, I believe it was. There was big shunt involving a beautiful grey 599 GTB around Chai Wan the other day I saw in the MTR free paper. Sad stuff... Ha! Just saw the figures for the car values as you pointed out Sir Paul. Hilarious! XK220, $1M?!?
Anyone care to share the story about this F40 crash near Tate's Cairn Tunnel? http://www.wreckedexotics.com/f40/f40_060802_01.jpg oh.. saw a blueish 456 and Red 355 today.
nice list but their wrong on at least two of their top 3 cars #2 the 250 Cali Spider is in fact a replica and #3 is not a Tdf but more likely an Ellena or Boana. Guess the guys in the vintage section know better about it Can't tell if the GTO is real, but there have been some crashs at tracks with those cars. BTW, I'll be in Hongkong again from august 8th to 12th. Hope to see some nice cars again and have a nice party in LKF or Wan Chai Martin
This was discussed a bit before in the Asia forum; the accident happened in the wet and there was death, but can't recall whether it was only one or both the driver and passenger. It happened too long ago.. I remember seeing it parked at one of the residentials in Repulse Bay just weeks before the crash...
One dead only - I think it was the passenger who was not wearing a seatbelt. I think the driver was a cars salesman driving the car to the cargo for shipping. These are all from my vague memory only though so might be wrong.
I'm sorry to hear that. Thanks all for the info. I re-searched and found it discussed in 2004. http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37814
