    Flav's been very quiet lately... In light of all the Fernando speculation, I find this curious... Could this be a sign the Renault is pulling the plug? Thoughts

    Carlos ghosn himself said a few days back that Alonso would be driving for renault next year.
    They are at least here next year I suppose then.

    I don't think they're calling it quits because we have heard no speculation about this whatsoever. Plus Flabbio loudly trumpets the FOTA horn, so he'd look really like an idiot then not being at the start next year.

    Alonso is going to Ferrari. That's a given and everybody knows it. I don't care what Ghosn says. In fact I'd say to him in German: "Halten's t Goschn Ghosn" (Shut up Ghosn). :)

    perhaps,... but when 7th is heralded as a great achievement... the bean counters could easily disagree with this being worth $300M+!

    Yeah, I heard that and thought it made about as much sense as some of MaXXX's pontifications...

    Posturing IMHO. For what purpose... :confused:

    Yes, but look at Honda: they´ve spent lots of money in a car that they are not using. In this hard times, everything can be expected.

    I think Flavio wants to buy them out like Brawn did with Honda. It can't help that Red Bull/Renault is doing much better than the team car this year. Having a Red Bull 1-2 today won't go over well back at Renault headquarters today.
