Nice picture. It looks like the cam cover was hand painted (vs. sprayed) gold. Or is it just the metal under the paint?

 

I believed it was painted. Here are a few more pictures. I plan to attend and cover the Redman vintage races this weekend and will post pictures when i get the chance.
These pics are of a Maserati 250F; beautiful car.

Hi,I made carzy many of the Ferrarichatters for pics of the 512s (I'm scratch building the winner of Sebring '70 #1026, 1/12 scale and I need the position of each bolt!) so if you have some, please post them!
