I know that sometimes it may be hard to believe but we still do have quality people at our disposal. The difference is we have no leadership tha sets goals and challenges us to achieve the impossible and to just "Make it happen". Instead we are being told we are guilty for our achievements and the only goal set is mediocrity. America has no leaders, it only has politicians.

You got that one dead right bro...

If any one of our last 3 presidents, or the one in office now for that matter, would have placed a priority on SOLVING the energy situation they could have done it easily for a lot less than it cost to go to the moon in then year dollars, and we would be giving the single finger salute to half the world... And don't even talk about our "representatives", 90% of them don't have enough brains or guts to do what is right without a taking a poll and seeing how it will play with the uneducated masses...

Instead we have "politically correct" green solutions that, if the greenies had their way would bankrupt the country and have us living in log cabins with a "minimal carbon footprint", it makes me sick...

A good friend who is an aerospace engineer ended up sitting next to Gene Krantz on a long flight and they talked a lot, he said it was the most interesting 4 hours of his life....
