Jim- That is so beautiful. Great choices in colors and I love the billet wheels. You should consider doing a 57-60 Corvette similarly in the same colors as a stable mate. Would be a pair with nearly as much cachet as 0846 and 0854 (close, anyway).

Thanks for sharing with those of us who could never afford to do anything similar.

It was exciting to get the subscription email from the Drive Them thread when I saw you had actually had this car out! I like your choice of colors. Here is Dad's 53.

This one is for driving. I hope Meg puts thousands of Miles on her. I also hope to take her on many long trips.

    Very cool.

I think a '57 & P4/5 photoshoot would be neat and very different.

He's a troll. Ignore him. Autorama is very cool and the cars there are amazing. The guys building Meg's 57 have won several awards there including one for my Lola. I especially like the rat rods.

Best and Thanks for the comment.

Sorry Jim, this car cannot be considered complete until we've seen the obligatory "donut" photo with the the back half of the car lost in tyre smoke, and some arms waving out the open windows ;) :D :D

Jim, you make this site so very special with all of your contributions and personal feedback. For those of us who don't move in such circles, we really appreciate your earthiness and willingness to bring it all to us for our enjoyment. You are like that Great Uncle who has all the cool stuff. I love to see your car builds in action!! That '57 is sweet and I hope you and yours enjoy it on the road for many years to come.

Spooled rear? No wonder it's whining. :)
