That is a stunning example. Do you have more pictures of both the exterior as well as the interior...?

Very nice additions! Only if you have the time and feel up to it, a few macro shots of the interior details would be interesting.

Thanks, Gents. That is one gorgeous car! You should definitely start a new thread solely dedicated to your car - with an obscene amount of pictures. Interior, exterior, close ups, details, backgrounds - the whole nine yards.

Congratulations on an absolutely stunning Ferrari. That long carbon fiber panel spanning the passenger side dashboard looks like a canvas in which an embedded dedication - liveried in the car's body color - would fit perfectly.

Wow! Many many thanks for the very kind words. I'll plan to do some more thorough photo documentation as you suggest! Very interesting idea for the passenger-side CF panel. It probably isn't readily visible, but the car does have the silver "dedication" plaque on the glovebox -- still blank. Would welcome any suggestions on filling it in!

    Best,

    Gary

If you get a chance to look at the original(s), and you're obsessive like I am, you'll notice that I'm not obsessive enough -- I parked the car so that the left front tire was right next to a storm drain in the pavement of the driveway. Kind of an ugly blot on an otherwise pretty set of photos!

I photoshopped out the drain in both the revised overhead image that begins this thread and the additional front/side shot that is lower in this thread.

What I haven't mentioned before is that in the photo as I shot it, there was a green garden hose coiled up next to the woodshed in the back -- I cloned that baby out of the picture right away.

I think that next time I'll park the car in a better spot and disconnect the hose...

Gary, if you plan on ever selling it - I mean ever, even if it's 20 years down the road - don't personalize the plaque with something like your first and/or last name.

If you're absolutely in love with the design of the car, perhaps you could inscribe the car's designer Jason Castriota (Progettato da Jason Castriota or Disegno da Jason Castriota). Maybe you want to put the serial number; maybe the date of that fateful day you took delivery. The data plate on the driver's side door jamb has the car's date of production (month, year), but you can find out the exact date that the car was finished - maybe that date means something. Of course you could put my name, since I'm gonna want to buy it from you one day when I finally have the money. :)

Wouldn't it have been easier to move the car a foot to the left and retake the picture?

Of course -- but where's the fun in that? :)

More seriously (just a tiny bit), I generally take photos during the day and post-process them for posting (contrast, sharpening, etc.) at night. So, by the time I saw the storm grate the car was tucked away, trickle charger attached, and it was dark out! Anyway, I saw it as a technical challenge -- I hadn't learned yet how to do something like cloning entire sets of bricks and inserting them elsewhere, so it was good practice.

Next time I'll move the car and disconnect the hose...

    Thanks for looking!
