Uh, are you guys suyre you want to head down the road of who has the most problem players these days? BRING IT! Or is the SEC so mighty that they can win against everyone, everywhere, and go to church on Sunday too? At least our coaches are not banned from their favorite recruiting towns! This new guy at Tennessee is fun to watch. Our ACC all stripes (stars) team would definitely be headed up by the big DOG Mike vick and his little Bro... BT
And the Big East all stripes team would be headed up by Ray Lewis. SEC? Leonard Little. I think OJ Simpson is the hall of famer though!
Preston Parker makes the JV all stripes team. Enough crime to get the boot, but no real gangster behaviour! I heard our QB Marve is going to transfer to Purdue. I thought that was a tough academic school??? I wish him well, but man that guy needs to slow down the short pass, same problem Kyle Wright had. BT
University of Alabama football program will have to forfeit 10 wins Posted by The Associated Press June 11, 2009 10:47AM Categories: football TUSCALOOSA, ALA. -- The NCAA has scheduled a teleconference for today to announce a decision on Alabama amid reports that the football program will forfeit at least 10 wins. The teleconference to discuss the decision by the Committee on Infractions will be at 2 p.m. today. No details were disclosed in the announcement, but several media outlets reported that the university will have to forfeit wins from the 2006 and 2007 football seasons that included players who obtained free textbooks for other students. They cited unnamed sources. Nick Saban took over as coach before the 2007 season and suspended five players for four games when the university uncovered the violations. Tags: Nick Sabam
Never really thought that textbook thing was a big deal. I'm a little surprised at that news. Glad that story is finally over now, though. Time to win that national title.. RTR.
The replay of the SECCG was on CSS last night, I watched the Gators beat 'Bama again. Interesting because they played the 'Bama telecast so I got to hear the 'Bama TV crew instead of Mick Hubert and the boys.
After three pages how has nobody mentioned the Univercity of South Carolina. They have a good chance of winning the SEC this year.
I was reading that in the Daily New of the World yesterday. It was under the headline HELL FREEZES OVER. SATAN DISPUTES GLOBAL WARMING CLAIMS.
Thank you both for making me spit coffee on my laptop. If South Carolina wins just the SEC East, I'll buy everyone a steak dinner. South Carolina has to have one of the toughest schedules in NCAA for this fall. That, and they don't have much talent on the offensive side and absolutely no running game.

The book, "The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game," documented Oher's transformation from the son of a drug-addicted mother and murdered father growing up in a Memphis housing project to an All-American and NFL prospect at Ole Miss. While actress Sandra Bullock and country singer Tim McGraw are the film's most famous entertainers, a handful of current and former college football coaches played some prominent roles. Along with Saban, former Notre Dame and South Carolina coach Lou Holtz, current Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt and former Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville filmed scenes at an Atlanta office building as the movie neared the end of production earlier this month..."

VaTech has Tyrod Taylor who is pretty mobile but a crappy passer, and Glennon (unless he graduated) who can pass but makes bad decisions. I'd hope for the coaches to stick with Glennon, you guys should handle him, no problem. I went to the UM / VT game last year and Taylor was running all over us. Fortunately the VT coaches did not see it and kept putting Glennon back in to screw the team up. We squeaked out a win on that one! BT

I'd say lets settle that in Pasadena, but I have a feeling Florida might stand in the way of the Tigers again this year.
I love that South Carolina is #40 it will make it so much better when we beat LSU and Florida this year.
