    Looks like a nice car. I wonder why it needed two FHP's installed? ;) Definitely worth a look at that price.

    Carbon- No, way too early for an HGTC, which were only 2005 models. It does have FHP, though.

    That's the color of my 550 (Rossa Barchetta) and it's been wonderful to live with :)

    Very tempting.

    I didn't think that FHP was a factory option for '02s?

    I wonder what exactly was installed -- suspension and steering ECU only or brakes, too?

    The FHP option became available for the US MY99 550 and consisted of the following items;

    Pagid brake pads
    Front Suspension Springs
    Rear Suspension Springs
    21mm Diameter Rear Stabilizer Bar
    Stabiliser Bar bushings
    Power Steering ECU

    I thought I’d call them in the morning, even though eBay cars scare me, but their website lists the car as a Pending Sale.

    Robie- Drew hit it on the head. Misconceptions fomented by the general auto magazines were that complaints about the softness of the suspension and lack of cornering capability would be addressed in the future by a handling package and the addition of optional 19" wheels. In actual fact, both FHP, as Drew stated, and the 19" wheels were available as separate options from day one of production. The 19" wheels and tires are described in the very first 575M sales brochure, 1804/02.
