Was great to meet up with everyone for yet another fantastic race weekend at Limerock... The most exciting spots on the track to watch are at those chicanes...course seeing them race by and hearing the exhaust "pop pop pop" is awesome..but the best is feeling those gear shifts in my feet as they go by
Is this meet still going on tomorrow 7/19/09? Also if any one has the exact address so I can put it into my GPS.
Yes it is on....baring bad weather or a trajedy, its always on (except winter).....see post Number 1 for address and map. John...Great to meet you. Looking forward to seeing that 400i 5 speed.
GREAT day at the races! Thanks to Mike for letting the crew crash your site, scavenging hot dogs and shade at will The best part was the ride in led by Saint Bastage down some of the best country driving roads in the state...zero traffic, lots of turns and hills, and then zero wait to get to the infield. Ashman, great to meet you and hope to see you at some of our Glastonbury meets. Here's a shot of Team Risi when they were in first... I'm planning on meeting the group tomorrow, with OBDII scanner in hand (Joe has dibs, but Lane we can scan your 348 if you bring it). Image Unavailable, Please Login
Lane, I'm going to be leaving for G-bury about 7:30 this morning. It's such a nice day, I decided to take 154 to Middletown instead of 9. I'll then jog over the bridge to 17 like we usually do. If you want to join me on the scenic tour, give me a call on my cell, otherwise I'll see you there. Craig
I'll be there. I have a great tan....I mean "burn" from the races yesterday, but what fun was had. I had a great weekend. see you guys at GBury. --Mike
Hey Jay, My lite came back on and when I got home I got the same codes we got this morning. I put a new thread on 348/355 because I was having trouble doing a search. If U get a minute, can U see if that PO341 is something you can do a search on. Thanx Joe
9 Ferrari, 1 Noble, 2 Alfa, 1 Lotus, 2 Vipers, and Paul's '55 Tbird and all we could find to talk about was everything. Not bad, Not bad at all. Mike's decided...The 24 hours of Lemons WILL BE. All that remains is the paint scheme and the team name. Ohh...and of course, some drivers. Image Unavailable, Please Login
yikes, this is becoming the 'fix my Ferrari' group! Between Mike's door lock, Lane's electrical gremlin and Joe's P0341 we should hire our own local full time tech! The good news is Phil's mint mob car 308 made it's first appearance. Great car and nice meeting your son, hopefully both cars show up often! I'm off to emissions tomorrow morn, should pass no prob....
Just watched the replay of the ALMS from the ROCK. Guess who can be seen and recognized (If you know where to look) during a fan scan prior to a commercial break 2 hours into the broadcast. hahahah.... I'm a Star...

Great day guys. Thanks for all the pics Craig. Phil, nice to meet your son... I am anxiously awaiting the results of the "black light" forensics test on the rear windscreen of the 308.
Joe...The store is in Berlin at Webster Square and its a hoot to spend time in while the wife waits in the car. Kind of like when she see's a shoe sale.
Sounds good. VIP(Very Intimate pleasures) is opening a new store in Berlin, so maybe I can make it a 2-fer. Thanx again.
Black Horse got the engine out. One step closer to coming home (although they did just tell me both caps and rotors are shot... did you ever see the cost of caps and rotors for TR's?) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Jay (UConn Husky), I had my car shipped by the same company, right to my door step and from FL as well. Not a ferrari but I think a step in the right direction. How was you experience with them? Wow how did you get ESPN to let you have the car delivered in there parking lot? When is the next meet? I just became a Ferrari owner 2 weeks ago after many years of dreaming. I live in the Farmington valley and would like to participate in your cars and coffee run. Since I got the car I have been taking her out to the local Starbucks in the early evening for a coffee, usually bringing someone along who wants to go for a ride. I brought it to LimeRock for ALMS and got to park in front of the Infield Chalet with a couple other Ferrari's.
Howdy Frank, Mike here. We meet Sunday mornings around 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. and hang out to around noon. We do this every Sunday that the weather permits, in the winter too! Love to have new people show up. Go to the very first post of this thread for directions. A lot of us were at the ALMS race, had a great time. So I see by your profile you have an F430 Nice! --Mike
Congrats on Ferrari ownership. I remember how long it took to wipe the smile off my face when my baby arrived 2 years ago... come to think of it, the smile is still there. As Mike pointed out, we are always eager to meet new faces and look forward to see your baby. This weekend is somewhat special in that there are 2 Ferrari days planned. Our Gathering AND the FCA club meet at Limerock. Those that attend generally roll out of Farmington along Route 4. See the other thread if you'd like to join us. Details will be by Private Message. Your post count is low so I want to make sure you are familiar with the process. Please check and respond to the PM I'm sending. Mike - Can you come out to play on Saturday? Lane
Congrats, you'll have fun with the Lotus. As for ESPN...the old adage applies, it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission. It was a weekend and the lot was empty, I just told the driver to meet me there. Experience was great, he delivered 2 days early which was the day before Xmas eve...and even showed me how to use the F1 paddle shift since I was a novice.
NICE, congrats! I think I saw you at the ALMS meet, you arrived later and were a few cars over I think. I'm just down the road in Bristol, drive the 355 all the time to Southington Starbucks and to work. I'll be cruising to Lime Rock early on Sat if you want to drive up together, send me a PM.
