Well again I tend to agree with your conclusion that the WDC isn't in the bag yet, I just know that counting on DNF's from Brawn may be a tough proposition. After all, Rubens slammed his car into everything but the cars in the parking lot in the first races of this season and STILL didn't DNF.

    5) Companies with real money want to sponsor a team with history and get involved with that history (think of the marketing potential). Winning is only part of it ... and Brawn have absolutely no history, even the Honda side is weak other than McLaren Honda.

    What a shame.
Both Brawn and some potential sponsor are both missing the boat.
Brawn's #1 priority should have been securing more money from the start.
Watch; Bernie is just sitting back licking his chops waiting to buy Brawn's loyalty like he did Williams. Cutting Brawn out of it's Honda money from last year was more than being tightfisted. Mini Warhol saw the bloody waters. The guy gives me the creeps.

It makes little sense to me that such a hot team hasn't signed a sponsor.
Either; Brawn is pricing themselves out of the market
There is no sponsor money out there even for such a prospect
Someone is funding the team sub-rosa
There is a restriction put on the team (by Honda?)

After talking with a Honda Performance Development(Hondas Racing Division) yesterday, he commented that everything they have been using this year was off of Honda. He said that they had been putting all the '08 resources into their '09 car. I"m not positive this car is a full Brawn car.

We've known this since before the current season even commneced. 09 car was developed during most of the 08 season, started well before anyone else.

Wurz recently described how they approached the 09 rules conceptually, with their five windtunnels.

Actually the latest news is that Brawn will come to Hungary with a full package of new pieces for the car.

Quite the contrary of running dry. Add to that the normally hot weather and we're looking again at a Button victory.

Ross Brawn is the ultimate sandbagger. I would never play poker with him as I would never count him out for the season. :)

Not unless they make the motor, and they can't. Won't.

You don't see 'Mercedes' on the side of a Ferrari...

The RB drivers also are competing against each other, while JB is the clear favourite.
JB is also a consistent driver. He hardly punts himself out of a race, so that has to be working in his favour.

With whom would that be :p:p:p:p?

I won't get to watch the race this weekend due to a business meeting, so hopefully Junglistluder will tape it for me again. Brawn is hurting right now, but they better give equal footing to RB soon or they will lose the constructors too, not just the driver's.

Some overconfident soul whom I dragged down into my dungeon. BUAHAHAHAA!

Somebody explain that name to me. Sounds very German. I know Boxenluder (think Katie Price), but Junglistluder is new to me.

Indeed. Gave him (?) access to the owner's garage.

Making a ? because Luder is a term only used for women.
