    All -

Soon I will have my Mondial for sale. I just wanted to put a feeler out for general interest, there are a couple of things I want to do to it before I put it up "officially" but buying will start at $19,500. This is a very nice lower mileage non-rusty car (50,000 miles), I'm the 3rd owner. I have many records, major is done (by me and by my mechanic) so you should be good for a while. There has been a lot of work done to it, including a re-cored radiator among so many other things. It's in fine shape, even the electrics are well sorted! Amazing.

This car is now w/out flaws, and I will point them all out when I put the official ad up. These pictures aren't great but a start. I don't have any good interior shots, but the interior is FANTASTIC.

Please no Mondial haters - if you dislike these cars, I don't need to hear about how worthless they are etc etc.. I love this car, I will drive it anywhere. It's 100% reliable and 100% cool.

Thanks for looking! When it's official I will have it up on eBay and let everyone know. Lots more great pics and all the info. and history on the car. If you want more info or are seriously interested, let me know. You can call me at 586-596-8372 or email [email protected].

NO TIRE KICKERS OR LOW-BALLERS! I don't need to sell this car, my interests are just moving toward the Germans at this time. So if it doesn't sell by late fall I'll hang onto it until Spring and try again.

Shouldn't be hard to point them all out if there aren't any. ;)

Are the Mondials with the QV engines considered Mondial 8s? The first one listed in as 85, so that would make it a Mondial QV.

Shame on me as I know better. You are absolutely correct. The '81 is an 8 and the '85 a QV.

James, I have porsche (911 cab) and mercedes (new S-class) in my garage also along with the two ferraris (mondial cab 3.2 and 308) - the germans make great cars, arguably better than the ferraris, however, you're going to miss the flair and style of your Mondial. There just simply isn't a single german car with anywhere near equivalent levels of style and pizzaz. Of course, a 911 or mercedes won't implode its engine with a snapped timing belt or seized WP bearing, or, make you feel like you're getting raped when buying parts, but there's something lacking compared to your mondial....
