perhaps like this part of her tour??? (there's quite a bit about her on wikipedia)-->>Eva also visited Switzerland during her European tour. This visit has been viewed as the worst part of the trip. According to the book Evita: A Biography by John Barnes, while driving down a street with many people crowding her car, someone threw two stones and smashed the windshield. She threw her hands up in shock but was not injured. Later, while sitting with the Foreign Minister, protesters threw tomatoes at her. The tomatoes hit the Foreign Minister and splattered on Eva's dress. After these two events, Eva had had enough, and after two months returned home to Argentina.

As I said, may it end in the same way. Heading home tail between legs.
Too bad Todt had a lot to be proud of before he cast his lot in with Max.

    Yes, Carol.
Several Malaysian MPs digging furiously into both the Tourism Ambassador position and the subsidised land purchase involved in his 'Malaysian Second Home' acceptance. Both are supposed to bring money into the country but the opposite has occured with Todt.
This could yet blow up in Jean T's face mid FIA election.

Except that by now we should have all noticed that Max and the FIA don't pay any attention to the fans' opinions.

Just checked (nice site btw) and it's showing Ari at 72.9% and Todt at 25.7% - if only fans could rule ! !

My thought exactly...in the end I'm not sure that ANY amount of political pressure from fans will help sway this decision. I can't imagine what a well-bribed delegate from Africa would care about any fan's opinion. Oh wait, make that many well-bribed delegates.

Todt beginning to sound like PornoMax every day..

Todt put out a statement after Vatanen’s claims were rejected by the FIA Foundation, in which he said that he hoped that all FIA candidates for the presidency [read Vatanen] should stick “to the issues and respect the integrity of this democratic process” and conduct their campaigns “with dignity and avoid personalising the issues or engaging in the spreading of disparaging or false allegations”.

    Total utter BS.

It wasn't the poll I was relying on but the excesses of JT's world tour. A lot of people whose opinions do count are sick of being embarassed by Max + Co. acting like a third world Banana Republic.
(Apologies to those from the third world, Republicans and to fruit everywhere:) )
