AutoCar drives the Corvette ZR1 chasing what sounds to be a Ferrari, does anyone know which Ferrari its going up against?

The ZR1 goes airborne near the end of the video.

One that consistently goes faster than a ZR1 :D

    Scud is my guess...

either way the car in question was gaining no ground... put the zr1 in front and see if anything happens... thats a prety tight road to try passing on

The rear end of the vette comes loose at the 1:20 mark. I'm guessing a lp 560 or a Scud...
I've thought the zr1 was faster in a straight line vs the Scud.

It is, but try passing on that road.

    My bet is for Scud.
That ZR1 looked like it was purposely held back and could've passed anytime it wanted.

    I don't believe a 'guess' is a 'conclusion'.

It appears the Zr1 could of passed at anytime if it really wanted to and or if there really was enough "safe" room to make passes on that road. It seems this was obviously for "fun".

Yea I saw it break loose to but I really like to watch that front end lift when he steps into it!! He was catching up pretty fast as well and looked like he coulda passed a couple or three times in my book...

They were on a road, not on a road course! Neither car were taking great lines; and neither car were taking the same lines. It's impossible to say "oh but this was faster" or "that is faster" based on that intense road driving video.

What's the point of having a rear mounted camera without a car there to film?

That Vette could have gone by (Superleggera?) at anytime.....

I know I am going out on a limb here but can it be an F50. Thats the only Ferrari I can think of that sounds like that.
