    that is a 250GT SWB, i think a 1961 model? one sold recently for $2.2 million?

    If you can buy a genuine 250SWB for £250K let me know where. That is the going rate for a good replica based on a 250GTE. Steel bodied SWB's should be should be around £1.5 million and an alloy bodied one with race history maybe £2-2.5m.

    thanks for letting me know the model. It was most definitely gorgeous. One of the most beautiful cars I have seen in the flesh.

    Would look nice next to my GT-R :) or NSX....

    The only question I have now, is which one of these two ferrari's is more exclusive and valuable.
    The 250 GT SWB or the 275GTB/4

    PS: I am not too sure of the model of the second one (blue one) - excuse the pic, it was late, raining heavy & I was driving. But this one pulled out of an underground carpark in W London and sounded amazing. Again, help welcome in identifying it (I think it's a 275GTB/4) But welcome expert views thanks

    nice to see someoene using a classic car like this in typical UK weather :)

    Wow, you've been lucky. I haven't seen a single vintage Ferrari over here.
    Yes the other is a 275... I don't know if it's a GTB/2 or GTB/4 or whatever. But the 250 SWB is definitely worth more. I think the 275 GTB is between $800k and $1 million, so maybe 500-600k pounds

    PS: The 275 GTB/4 is RHD if you look closely, therefore got be be more exclusive and rare surely?

    A RHD 275GTB4 would be quite rare but that would not make it more desirable than a 250SWB. These cars trade in a world wide market and our friends across the Atlantic and in Europe wouldn't want RHD so demand is much smaller.

    Without seeing the front of the car it is impossible to tell if it is a 2 or 4 cam.

    Johnathan Tremlett may come along and tell us what it might be from what you can see of the numberplate, also the same on the SWB. In the case of the SWB, particularly as it is parked on a public road, it is more likely to be a replica based on a 250GTE or 330 chassis. But still a stunning car.

    A great design, amazing to think it is 50 years since their launch. They are still one of the most beautiful cars ever.

    Although you can't see it clearly on the photo, a four cam has external boot lid hinges (I think some late 2 cams had them as well).
