Sorry, the only historic photo I have is the well-known shot in front of the Tour Eiffel with the other two cars. Maybe among photos of the '51 Paris salon and '52 Tour de France you might find something. Perhaps easier, have you spoken with the gentleman who found and restored the car ? He must have devoted some effort to finding references for his work.

 

I am friends with him and don't recall seeing all that many pictures other than the ones we have already seen here. I think I have linked to these photos before in as found condition.

I met the Japanese owner on the Nuerburgring 2 weeks ago. He is a Lancia-nut and purchased the Vignale-A6G because its a one-off! I don`t think that it will come back to the US soon! He is very much involved in Formula 1-activities with the CORSE CLIENTI-program of Ferrari.

For many years Peter Kaus had in its famous "Rosso Bianco-Collection" near Frankfurt, Germany, two A6G-1500 on display. One car was #073 (s. photo/ © Traumautos.com) - does anybody have the VIN of the 2nd car?

All descriptions of the collection that I've seen mention only one A6 1500 - see for example Viale Ciro Menotti No. 52. What is the source of your belief that there were two ? Perhaps there is confusion with the A6G 2000s (a Frua spider and I believe two Zagato coupes) ?

yep, I know this VCM-feature. It seems that the 2nd car was never displayed (I made a mistake here on my previous post!) and stayed in the department for spare-parts and restoration-projects which was never open to the public. It was an incredible place and I was there only once.

This 2nd car was later given to a very strange person who owns it until today - unrestored!

Does anybody know the VIN of the A6G/54 Allemano that is owned and on display in the Panini-Collection. The car was once owned by the Factory and stored in their premises. Anybody?

many thanks for the info. Interesting is, that the car was with chassisnumber #2160 painted in white! Seems that it came back to the Factory and was registered there. I am just checking its VIN via a PGA-request.

There is an excellent long article on this car with many photos in Viale Ciro Menotti issue 83 (March 2003), pp. 58-75, which even includes a copy of correspondence from Sig. Cozza regarding the chassis number.

The 2000 Allemano s/n # 2115 has been offered for sale in Anamera for many months by someone in Munich. Do you know the approximate asking price ?

Yep, ...still with non-matching number engine! The correct engine is owned by a friend of mine!
Iteresting is that one of the photos on that website shows the chassis- and engine-plate in the engine bay, listing the engine #2147 istalled!

Here comes a photo of the correct engine-block #2147 (with an unmachined cylinder-head!!!) that is still in the possession of my friend! So, take your conclusions.......!

I know the owner of the car - who is also a member on this forum. According to the infos I have, s/n 2115 is in bad condition and in need of a resto. Therefor the asking price is too high -IMO.

Well, I must say that s/n 2115 looks quite nice in the photos posted on Anamera (http://www.finecars.cc/en/detail/car/24912/index.html?no_cache=1&ret=63), although the added front disc brakes and anti-roll bar look a bit incongruous on an unmistakable A6 chassis.
