Of course $40K is an insane amount of money man. :D:D

They way I see it, if you can afford to spend $600K-$800K on a Lambo Murcie, im sure you can afford a finish like that and the 'high' maintenance that goes with it. If that involves a $40K respray after a 4000 km, then so be it. :D:D

firstly you just handed over $800k so money is not your No 1 concern

secondly you have people who wash your car, service and take care of it

thirdly one mans insanity is anothers reason !!!

awesome wheres that can of chrome in a can spray from Supa Cheap, i figure i need 300 cans !!!!!

Yeah... Plus, I don't see that car spending much time in the Tesco carpark!

A paint job like that would test one's patience if used as a daily driver, but as a toy, it certainly fits the bill as a novelty piece.

$40k for the paintjob plus $150k depreciation for displaying such poor judgement in repainting an F50 "look at me" chrome.

Just one problem left, waiting on parts. All in all, it's a great car and perfect for the 4 seater daily driver role. Just as well, I will have to keep it for years to justify the depreciation hit :)

It's a bit hard to use things that you can't legally drive on the road *shrug*

Lets just think of them as "objets d'art"

They are just transport. I am not exactly excited about an X3 either; but it fits the job description.
