It would be interesting to see this with a challenge grill, from the shaping of the back, it looks as if there could be one in the future!

Beautiful...much better looking than the 430 and the performance better than a scud

That remains to be seen. It does have more hp, yes, but it's lighter. On some tracks, weight is more important than hp. I'm very interested to see which tends to do better on the average track. Look at the 430 vs CS. The CS has less power, but it weighs less and therefore was, until the Scuderia came out, used quite frequently on the track.

I certainly agree with the looks though =)

Oh boy. Ever driven a Ferrari with F1 gearbox because if you would have you would realise that is a dumb remark. But ... I guess everybody is entitled to his own opinion.

    Best,

When driven on the street, a manual shifter is more pleasant and you can have more fun with it imo. If you want all out track performance, then get the F1, if you want the ultimate driver experience, get the manual. I agree that it's a matter of opinion.

Sharp - first one in a while that doesn't have to "grow on you". Wonder if they'll do a version w/that middle pipe running to a wastegate ...?

I have several, hated it the same with traction control as well.
I know it could shift faster and more perfectly than I but I am not in a race where seconds count when I drive.

    Its more rewarding.
Just imagine the 458 challenge version (458 imola?). I can see it weighing near the 12xxKG's:cool:.

I wasn't a huge fan of the 360 (to high on its legs) and the F430 (it missed something). Loved the Scud & CS. This though...My word.

It's fantastic. Shame the waiting list will be very long by the time I have the cash together.

    Never:)

One of the best parts of driving a Ferrari besides the motor are there transmissions, that little metallic clang sound from the gate is what makes them even more special.

Bravo to Ferrari for hitting a home run on this design. Thanks to Audi/Lambo for putting the pressure on Ferrari to step it up.

Interestingly enough, it's heavier than the f430 (1340kg dry weight). I am a bit surprised.

Agree with most, this is the best design in many years, it has instantly grown up on me. I love it.

I just wonder why they put the same wheels as the 16M Scuderia Spider, which also makes me suspect those might not be the definitive wheels. Such a great new design should come with its own new wheels, shouldn't it? Anyway I hope the actual car will be basically the same, as low as it rides.

If I really love it in pictures, I can't imagine what I'll think in person. This is a real Ferrari, bravo to Pininfarina, this is a home run in my book.

BTW, does anyone know or can take a guess what that button is above the start engine button is? I doesn't say anything on it on the pictures I've seen.

Suspension setting as it has a Shock Absorper picture.

On a different note, looks like Jim's P4/5 had a lot of inspiration for this car.
