    Guys

Everything is Fine! Thank GOD! But thanks for the concern.

The CGT is sold to a fellow FChater and I'm still on the fence about selling the F40. If the right buyer comes along, I will sell if not I don't. Even if I sell the F40, the rest of the cars are staying, But an Enzo has been in my sights for a while, and if the right deal comes along, you never know.

Glad to hear all is A-OK. I don't know if I'd swap an F40 for an Enzo though. But that's just me. Good luck with whatever you choose.

585 is probably 100K over what even a pristine F40 is worth in today's market. Good luck though!

People keep referring to "today's market" as if this applies to EVERYTHING for sale these days. From other threads herein it sounds like a few F40s have sold recently at solid prices and not fire sale prices. Why has someone been trying to buy my F50 for a premium over what I paid for it? Why did someone pay me a premium for my low mileage pristine Rosso Scuderia Stradale?

It's not all doom and gloom across the board. There is ALOT of money sitting on the sidelines. Alot of money being spent by smart buyers in anticipation of future growth potential or to be able to enjoy stable investments (you can't drive your stocks!). Buy a nice F40 today and enjoy it. It's not likely to "tank" in value (unlike my AIG stock did!).

You think he has a decent chance of getting 585k, and you think the FLI car probably went for more (say 600k-ish)??

    Wow...

Wasn't it you who just a couple weeks ago said:

7/1/09 - "High 3s, low 4s for a clean low mile car is a great deal"

7/1/09 - "...high 300s and low 400s is a great deal. If that's not market, I don't know what one is..."

Now, a couple weeks later USA F40s are worth almost double? What made you come around???

    Let me guess...
