this is big for F1. never in my wildest dreams , did i think he would make a comeback. looks like we have a dream team now, Two world champs in the team. kimi will have to prove that he is the man. its is going to be great racing and great for the sport
I guess the last time that occured would have been Mansell & Prost at Ferrari .. and that didn't work very well
Incredible news!! Will be great to see MS on track with the others...KR, FA and LH. Kimi finally has someone to push him. It's going to be very interesting to see how Kimi will react on track.
I'm torn - I want to see Felipe getting better really fast, but also want to see Michael in that car for as long as possible. Maybe we should all chip in for some hot "nurses" to give Felipe sponge baths whenever he wants it - that'll keep him from wanting to check out! Time to seriously start watching F1 again...
It will be a cold day in Maranello. Good point though. Lets see if he can take it. Dishing it out was his specialty.
Walker's reports got me into F1-oddly enough it was the fateful Cevert accident that was my first taste of F1. Been hooked since but it is waning a bit but not after today!!! August 23 is my birthday; a schumey vittoria would be the best present but in the real world if he can finish in the points it would be a start.....lack of testing will hurt MS badly...slicks, kers, new circuit, lots of info to process with no testing mileage......
Yes! I'm wearing my Schumacher "replica" hat (http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=138032740&postcount=22) in his honor!!! Many thanks to a fellow F-chatter that text'd me with the news.
Christ apparently turned water into wine, let's see if Schumi can turn the F60 into a GP winner. Equally as big a miracle
Well no, but in the sporting world that looks something like this.... Hmmmmm, lets see SEVEN F1 Driver Championships......SEVEN Tour de France victories. Coincidence, I think not! Image Unavailable, Please Login
HAHA! I didn't think of that... yeah, this has to be another kick in the balls for Ralf. MS retires and he still gets talked about all the time. Ralf retires and not a peep is heard about him in F1 circles from that day forth. MS announces a comeback, and ticket sales go through the roof, and every news outlet is all over it. Ralf couldn't even find someone who would let him pay to mount a comeback bid.
Ralf would have a hard enough time getting arrested. He wouldn't even qualify to be on that rubbish "reality" show "Help Me Get Outta Here, I'm a Celebrity" or whatever it's called.
I honestly believe it will!! It's not like he hasn't been in a Ferrari F1 car recently. And he has always performed well under pressure, he knows what must be done!!
