Just bloody thrilled to see him back in a GP car. I do not have high expectations about his chances of winning but to me it does not matter. This is good for Ferrari, Massa and F1.

+1 on all points. I'd love to see him make Kimi look foolish, but really, I do not think it's going to happen. Even though he's tested a few times, he's been out of the cockpit a long time and the cars are too different. I really hope I am wrong because I'm a huge MS fan, but I do not foresee the world being set on fire.

Win or lose, it will be great to see him out there.

The one thing we can all count on his he will give 100% for the rest of the season. I just don't have that feeling with Kimi or some of the other drivers.

Everyone has to admit that this is very exciting. This has to be the biggest thing since Mike came to Ferrari in 96.
I know that most of us are saying that he will win. The expectations are getting bigger everytime you read here there and everywhere. Lets not get too excited or we may be let down too much when and if Mike only finishes 5th or 6th in his first race.
I dont doubt for a minute that he will by seasons end be right there and showing everyone what he was and is made of. I really think that qualifiying will be his first strong trait he will show when back in 3 weeks. After that we will see what happens. I hope that he likes it so much that he wants to stay for the upcoming season. It would be fantastic to see him back with Massa at Ferrari to help him to a WDC which he so deserves.
PS if anyone wants to party next week, just give me your coordinates and I wll beam you up to my place for BBQ and drinks.;):):)

Wow! Wow!! Wow!!! I was both shocked and estatic when I heard the news. Wow!!! Couldn't have come at a better time as Ferrari seems to be showing some life with Kimi coming in 2nd in the last race.

    Can't wait!!!

    What can I say...damn

I never thought we will actually see him race on a Ferrari again...first thing after the Hungary race I told my wife..."now is the time to bring back SCHUMI and start developing next years car even if its for Alonso"...then I went "...noooooooooot"

Too bad we can only give him this piece of lard ass F-60 to try and make a decent show and score points for Ferrari...talking about a team player huh!

...If someone can help REDESIGN this and take a better aproach on the next year car is...

...the only "other guy" that knows how to develop a car...Michael Schumacher.

If Alonso profits from this next year...I dont care!!!

    this is just incredible.

Just read the news! Awesome! If Alonso can get the Renault on the pole Schumi should be able to as well. I wouldn't care if he had to do it on a light tank either.

Glad to hear Massa is also doing well!

I doubt they have much choice, as the car is poorly balanced without it.

And we saw how Hambone got VERY good use of KERS at the start in Hungary. I'm sure Michael would benefit also!

I agree with Sir Enzo's post above, but I still think it's the wrong move for Michael now. Just a gut feeling for me. I wish him the very best!

The hospital doctors say "yes", but Felipe says Schumi might not even get a chance at Valencia. ;)
But a later report says Massa may be fit in time for Singapore.

The kid keeps improving by the hour.
We might need to nickname Massa, "Wolverine". ;)

(Hmm. What X-men characters would some of the other drivers be? :p)

How many drivers have there been in F1 that did a come back? Not necessarily successful, but, comeback never the less? Will this be another thing to put on the record books?

I don't think he would even try this if he did'nt think he could win! (car needs to be there as well) There's no upside for him to look like his best days are past him. He's in top physical shape as always, and he would not make himself look like a fool. I say he will be a formidable force behind the wheel!!........IMHO
