Who among you guys have ordered the 458 Italia? Sure looks wicked... Especially the 2-tone ones! One thing that caught my attention in a negative way is the exhaust. But that's just me
I'll be attempting to do so.. have placed order for the bumper and sides... prob rear bumper can't cos exhaust diff to fit
did u change the rear bumper? btw since u've got the scud bumper, did u get the carbon fibre centre piece? i'm getting that centre piece locally done in CF for my scud bumper...
We did not opt for the various CF pieces for certain body panels, we simply got the regular ones. The CF pieces costs 50% more than the regular version and the weight savings is not significant. Only just did the Front and Side. I already have the CF Challenge grille for my rear end from the factory....one of the best options we included for the F430 IMHO. Are you the Doctor with the F430 spider who has been enquiring for the parts recently?
U are wise. The CF for the front i.e. lip and lights, will only save you 1.5kg. If we ate less for lunch it would already save weight
i'm the dentist with the coupe... I've installed the CF challenge rear and waiting for the scud front and sides.. i've been informerd of the crazy factory price and decided to produce CF parts on my own including the rear diffuser, Standard 430 front piece and scud font center piece.. will post pics when ready.. we should meet up one these days and i can share more....
Schumacher at Mugello Mugello, 31 July 2009 - After the simulator yesterday afternoon at Maranello Michael Schumacher proceeded with his work physically preparing himself for the Europen GP on 23 August. The 7-time F1 World Champion went on the track at Mugello for a private test in the F2007 managed by the Formula 1 Clienti department at Ferrari. Michael drove 67 laps, the fastest in 1.23.736. “It's a great thing getting back on the track with an F1 even if this was a car from 2007 from the F1 Clienti department with slicks usually used in GP2 and obviously there is no real point of reference”- Michael said – “After a couple of laps I was able to drive costant lap times and I'm happy with the performance. Now we've got to see how my body and the muscles respond in the next days.” The programme will be defined in the next days. Meanwhile the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro asked the other teams to have the possibility to test the F60 before the race at Valencia and is waiting for a reply. http://www.ferrari.com/English/News/Pages/090731_F1_Schumacher_at_Mugello.aspx Yeah man!!!
