    personally, this is the first epic Ferrari since the 308. From the 308 the 8 cyl F cars got ever less radical looking until the 430 which is honestly not better looking than the C6 Z06.

    This looks ... special, radical. Unique, befitting. I approve.

    It looks new, original and very much a Ferrari.

    Most important, it looks more nimble than its' derect predecessors.

    Exciting car to look at!

    how about all of the above? Mostly the enzo though. In fact i would call it a baby enzo, just like the 348 was called a baby testarossa when it came out. the guy that says it looks nothing like an enzo should look again. It's sort of silly to say it looks more like an older one than the newer one when they all riff off the previous version. there was a distinct break with the 360, which i agree with the other poster calls to mind the 250 lm

    i kind of feel like its a little bit of a throw back to the 246. Smallish car, both are very swoopy, smooth cars. I think it incorporates all of the mid-V8 designs really well, and takes influences from some super cars as well. It just looks like a Ferrari should. Best looking Fcar since the 355, IMO.

    Most of the negative noise comes from either ham fisted journalists who can't drive, or magazine/arm chair racers who don't have any experience with the cars. The 348 is the last of the Ferrari breed of cars that demanded that its driver actually know how to drive and be smooth with ones inputs, heel/toe, etc. Getting it right on a track or a mountain road with a 348 is an extremely rewarding experience. The newer cars, as good as they are, never challenge their driver to actually be skillful.

    As for the new car...... It looks like Ferrari has finally designed a good looking car again! Thank you!

    You would really consider this more "epic" than the Enzo????

    The Enzo is "epic" in terms of its performance, and for being what it is -- a rare, important and valuable car. Visually, I think it's one of the ugliest Ferraris of the modern era - very Japanese/Transformers-looking.

    The 458 looks to be a more cohesive design, and the performance should be astonishingly good. I question whether it will be as memorable as the 308/328 -- no one cue to etch itself in your mind. But it's a step beyond the slab-sided 360/430, IMHO.

    Couldn't ask for a better combination in terms of design

    I see 360 & Enzo in there as well.

    458 = (246 + 360 + Enzo + P4/5)

    While perusing the Forza issue that debuted the 360, I spied some concept drawings. One of the original 360 sketches is remarkably similar to the 458. If I get a chance, I'll pop it in the scanner this AM and post here.

    ^^^ yes, with a hint of Dino and 360

    I must be one of the few who simply doesn't see the overstated opinion of the P4/5 influence. Doesn't evoke the image of Napolis' car in any way for me.
