    All very true, just that overall very little of the Evo is shared with the road car. The F40 LM shares ALOT with the road car.

    Either way. Gotta love the Evo....

    According to current registrations, this will be a World Record gathering of 288 GTOs, if all attend. We have 1 or 2 more expected, plus a pleasant surprise hopefully!

    Our goal was to equal the World Record gathering of 12 cars which assembled 24 years ago at Zandvoort.

    It appears we will meet our goal, as we are on course for 14 cars.

    However, I am cautiously optimistic because registrations do not mean showings. But...

    Pictured below is 56331 at Zandvoort in 1985.

    The images show 79888 and are from Belgo Exports' website.
    This car is currently owned by a UK collector/fanatic.
    When the previous owner Jacques Swaters made this car availbale for sale several brokers advertised (some authorised/some not) the car, Belgo Exports were one of them.
    Belgo Exports claimed they sold 79888 to the current owner.

    I suspect this current ad is false and various other motor cars available on this Japanese site are also listed with Belgo Exports.

    A few clarifications if I may:

    1. The Ad as far as it pertains to 79888 is false.

    2. 79888 is no longer owned by the UK collector I think you are thinking of. In fact, it is now on this side of the pond.
