Well, we definitely know that isn't Russ Cole's Enzo, at least not anymore! And he had the audacity to call some of us poseurs thanks to a PM made to him by another 'Chatter', who really knew nothing about him; or Abby.
That's a pretty old car. Hugh Hefner had one and I know a collector that owns it. Wonder if that's the same car?
On the way back from a cruise on the south side yesterday, saw a powder blue Scuderia heading West on Archer at Ashland, about 6PM...i was feeling a bit out of place, until I saw the Scud Was too stunned to see that car over there, to reach for the cam.
The same reason my son made me wait to leave the Lamborghini dealer until he saw one of the salesmen get out of the Murcie he was driving! It's too cool to not see!!
Baby Blue 430 Scuderia today at 12:30 at Madison and Franklin. Didn't seem like much after all the Ferraris last weekend in Elkhart Lake. Very cool car though!
Now that's a rare spot Andrew! Here's one I found in Wheaton today. It was parked in one of our office building lots. I still can't decide if I like these Audis or not...... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Oh it was a sweet car. I experienced 3 days of serious sensory overload last weekend. I'm almost desensitized after a weekend in a town overrun by Ferraris'. What I would imagine heaven would be like (only in heaven one of them would actually be mine). The effects of the weekend will wear off soon I'm sure.
Dark Blue 430 (possibly black? I just briefly caught a glimpse as I was traveling in the opposite direction) on I-94W last night at 8pm just north of half day road... pulled over by a cop in the construction zone
Sounds like he paid $375 to drive thru that contruction! This NSX drove thru Wheaton today on Roosevelt Road. I still like these cars! Image Unavailable, Please Login
On most Sunday mornings, I see dozens of corvettes going toward Rockford on I-90. Not that they're rare or anything, but a lot of low sleek cars going fast is cool. They are usually in groups of 3 to 9, but I have seen up to 24 in a bunch. In the afternoon, I see dozens going the other way. I figure they must be going to/from some sort fairly regular club ride out in the boonies, possibly southern Wisconsin.
On Sunday I saw a GTR in a parade in Hampshire, IL. After driving that thing 1 mile at 1.5 miles per hour I hope he blew off some steam.
It's hard not to like one of the sleekest most reliable cars ever made. With minimal maintenance and new tires every 10,000 miles or so, it's common for them to run for 200,000 miles. There's even a few NSX daily drivers out there with 400,000 miles on them. A black NSX with deep tinted windows slid past me, just inches away while I was riding my bicycle (Cannondale tandem) in South Barrington one evening. The car was so smooth looking and quiet as it idled by. It was only about has high as my handlebars and seemed to be floating. It looked almost alien. I've lusted for one ever since.
Took a trip downtown last weekend and saw some great cars. White Scud (yes, that is me), black F430, lotsa Bentleys, a Lotus Elise. Most epic sightings: At Bentley/Lambo Gold coast. They have a Black/Black Veyron back on consignment, as the owner is now waiting for "the new one," or so they say. The Verde Ithaca LP640 is so hot, not to mention the SLR, and numerous 430's. Looks like a buyer's market to me. Last night: BLACK ENZO driving down Milwaukee up here in Vernon Hills. Anybody know who this is (maybe an FChatter)? Also, someone who goes to my gym up here has a red 430 and a blue Gallardo, which he alternates between. Didn't have the camera with me, maybe next time... Red F430 headed south on I-55 at 83 on Sunday and a silver 550 Barchetta outside Comiskey Park after the game.
I have been by there a few times over the summer, and it hasn't been out, but it is the same blk/blk you mention. They had it out. Then it went away. Then it came back.
I went to high school across the street from Bentley Gold Coast (Archbishop Quigley Prep Seminary) now closed, they are doing construction there now, on your second pic on the left. We always used to go to Bentley Gold Coast, we saw Ludacris there once.
Maybe that was Jeff and he has secretly had his car painted baby blue to make his girlfriend happy. I suspect thats where it has really been for a month lol.
One of the salesmen told me they've sold 3 black/black veyrons. Lately: white Gallardo and a black Z8 on North, and a silver Carrera GT on Lasalle.
