I will be registering my F-car in Florida very soon. I printed out the form and also visited the web site to see what the tag options are (appears to be limited).

I would like to get a plain tag, no graphics at all. I looked at all of the listed graphics and none appeal to me. Is that all there is? Can I get a plain tag? If so how do I get it?

Has anyone done this???? What, no little prancing horse logo...

    Thanks!!!

You will need a Florida DMV approved plate............there are a bunch to pick from, but none that are completely blank.

Link not working.... I may have been to this site from the DMV web page. Shows pictures of the graphics.

I should have been clearer... by blank plate, I mean no cutizy graphics (no orange, no favorite team, school, etc...), just my personal set of letters centered on the plate.

Virginia DMV has this option, but right now Virginia is not an option for me as I will be moving out soon.

    Thanks!!!!!

The orange with no background is a transport plate....not for issue to other than transporters or dealers.

it was the regular fl. plate with the orange in the center. there were three letters positioned over the orange and from a distance the plate appeared to be blank.

After poking around via Google, I found this site that showed all of the available plates. www.flhsmv.gov/html/all-h.pdf

The least obtrusive, non-split letters/numbers plate appears to be the Personalized (Sunshine State). I would prefer a plate without the oranges and the state image.

Once I secure my plate, I will post what it is.

    Thanks!!!!!
