This is an interesting story http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lamborghini-Espada-1976-Lamborghini-Espada-400-GTE_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem335497c5d2QQitemZ220462564818QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks#v4-34 It's been coverted to an automatic but the original 5 speed is available (smart!). Bob S.
This had to be an expensive and difficult thing to do so there must have a been a good reason such as physical disability or the wife?
yep lotsa work there Gary but it'll all be worth it once you take her for your first real ride and realize that she's coming home with you and DON'T FORGET TO POST PICS HERE !!!
Here's another one for sale http://thegallery.onlinevoorraad.nl/s42a6dc8db5a147b197054c4f7e144a99/details/big.html?sid=1270194&pid=20
This is the best example of the VIP interior I've seen. http://thegallery.onlinevoorraad.nl/s5e58c936cf75ffe46e1cece88e250391/details/?sid=1620737
Kinda steep pricing. Not a fan of the interior decoration, but if it's original, it's original (there's a pun in there somewhere.)
Hi Alberto, I'm not so sure it is original or accurate. I have other pictures of a VIP interior done in two tone brown in stead of the harsh black of this one and the seat pattern is different. This one looks awfully new. I find this one a bit too busy looking in spots like the glove box door. Maybe they took a bit of artisitic license with the pattern or the factory offered a couple of patterns? You don't see many of these. Bob S.
Interesting story.I surely hope your Espada will give you Joy for many years.Mine is also sson ready! Patrik
here are a few pics of Gary's (thedoc) 71 S2 Espada (8394) that just arrived yesterday! A happy man indeed he was Congrats again Gary !!! (I also must admit that the Espada (in general) looks much better in person than in pictures) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi all, Bob and Joe, you didn't told me my car was featured in this year program... What an honour! Is the photo of the interior is Bob's car? Philippe S2 7987 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
You're supposed to show up to find that out! Just kidding. Yes it's my interior but why mine was used is anyone's guess. At least we had ONE green Espada there ... ;>)
I'm certain Gary will show up and post on here eventually ... but as he explained it to me in emails he almost had a coronary waiting for delivery and then he couldn't take any pictures because he was too busy toweling off the drool. He needs to get a safety inspection and an appraisel then he can register it and finally drive the darn thing. Once it's road legal he may not surface for a month. I think he's in love ...
Fan Frickin tastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a noise what a smell what a rush 100kms and 20 dollars in gas later and im in love Thanks too all especially Bob for all the advice. Thanks John for posting me with the car Im just too busy driving I'll see you and all those crazy Italians on thursday night Gotta go.... Ive got payvement to Burn!!! Oh I mean gas money Bob I got the wipers going with the aid of the mechanic who did safety this morning. Not perfect but they dont hit at least....but we can talk still Gary aka Valentino ( im kidding...) gents.......
