    I posted a few photos from the Silverstone Classic held at the end of July on another thread this morning and it made me look out a few more photos if anyone is interested.
    I fully recommend this event as there is an eclectic mix of cars from Bugattis through Lola T 70's to ex Formula 1 cars.

    Dave, yes a great event indeed. I was there on the Sunday. Weather was a bit cold, but lots to look at.
    the first photo looks remarkably similar to yours.
    the second is of he same car taken at the 2008 Goodward Revival. I am not a particularly good photographer, but was proud of this one.
    I understand from the owner that this was the last front engine F1 car to win a Grand Prix. I had a long chat with his engineer. What a fanastic job to have.
