It doesn't really have eyelids, the design feature is integrated in the front hood, I think it's near to impossible to recreate in real life (you can try carbon stickers perhaps), anyway if you really would wanna see it, I could give a go at it, but I rather create things which can be made in real life as well ;)

Not bad at all, but I also think it's only a little change yet a very expensive one to pull off in real life and also decreasing the value of the car :)

Bit tired of all the photoshopping at the moment, but since I love FIA GT racing/races, think I'll try that 1 with a side view soon (just impossible to guess what they'll do to the front and rear anyway).

This car has a problem though, it has too much power for GT2 :D It's almost enough for the average GT1 car... makes you wonder.

Yeah that was the only editor so far asking me for permission, very nice! Though I dislike they used the hello kitty up front :D

Would it be possible to see some photos with the lower indent (not sure what to call it) that goes from under the door into the rear panel blacked out?
    Thanks

Challenge Stradale style, why not? ;)

I personally don't think Ferrari will re-use CS or Scuderia wheels and neither the stripe design, but it looks brilliant.
Anyway we still have to wait another 3 years or so to see what Ferrari comes up with :)

    If you take requests:

Can you do a white car, black mirrors/top/wheels, and blue calipers?

Indeed; and just when the Corvette's leave GT1 for GT2... an interesting season awaits.

Always a fan of the CS. This is just very, very nice!

Nice touch with the body color intake. Actually looks better than the black plastic...

Indeed it is, Jim. My friend Franc picked it up yesterday. If you join us for a meeting one of these days, you'll be sure to see it!

Thanks for all the phenomenal photoshopping, it's great fun fantasizing. I think a black car with silver roof would be stunning. Yellow calipers, dark grey wheels.

Onno, giving up on a blue 458 already or just testing the waters? I seem to recall a euro 599 in black/silver roof livery...

Anyone want to do their best impression of a black Hamann tuned one? Roof scoop, everything?

Jim, I think you have a career ahead of yourself, you can work with Ferrari clients to help them get the combination they'd like... and charge a price too instead of doing this for free

    Sure :)

I don't know why, but blue calipers somehow seem out of place here, guess they don't provide enough contrast with the dark wheels. Your thoughts?

I can't predict what's Hamman going to do to this one, but I can do a side view with the f430 stuff.

I'll see what I can do tomorrow :)

Thank you very much, I love it!

But now that I see it yes, something does seem weird about the blue calipers.

The blue calipers give it that "tuner look." In that color combo, I'd stick with black calipers.

wow, white with black roof and dark wheels... very very awesome

blue cals don't look too bad, but it'd be better with red or yellow

Thanks Onno, I happen to have seen your 550 before.
On the way to Viva Italia 08 my dad wanted to have a quick break at a tank station, so I drove to the rest place in the classic Lancia and saw an orange Diablo VT 6.0 parked there (beautiful black wheels!). And I was like hey this is the parking spot which you and the Diablo owner had spoken about to meet up on the FC: Viva Italia thread (or the Dutch speakers thread, can't remember!).
Anyway few minutes later you showed up and I do remember with a very nice soundtrack/v12 rumble, definitely not the mild stock sound :D

Actually re-reading this I'm not sure if the Diablo or you were first, nonetheless it's a small world :D

The nero with a silver roof combination looks pretty good, though it feels more suited to a nice GT cruiser like the 612 (was it the source of inspiration? ;)), it's missing the racy character a bit if you know what I mean :)

Since I've seen your 550 in real life, I can personally tell the Porsche Nachtblau color is a stunner, so with that in mind I tried to match it as a bonus.
As mentioned before metallic is very hard to match due to different reflections, but I think I came pretty close :)

See post #49 for red caliper color, it looks great.

Hehe, I'm actually studying Industrial Design with a wild dream in my mind to end up at one of the design (in)houses in Italy. But seeing your suggestion, it would be so lovely to work at the Ferrari Atelier, working out the dreams of a clients new Ferrari would be one of the most awesome things to do, sketching multiple solutions, creating some quick renders based on the press images, while still keeping in your backmind produceability/client budget etc. etc.

Done the photoshops to refresh my skills a bit, I underestimated the amount of requests though! :D

Thanks so much for your hard work and reply, although that indent was not what I meant and yes, it does indeed look awkward.
In the photos you just did of the white car with the blue calipers, look at the very 1st photo (3/4 front view). The indent under the door going half-way into the rear panel causes a gray shadow. That's the part I meant when I asked if you could black it out. I do appreciate your time though.

You are very talented and a great asset to this site. My extreme compliments to you!
