Just Bought a Vanquish.

Hello all! I have just purchased a 2003 Aston Martin Vanquish. I figured it was about time to nuzzle my way into the Aston life, and the vanquish seemed like an economical way to do it. The exterior is meteor blue with blue interior, not my favorite combination, but who cares? I will def put some pictures up when I get the chance.

03 would be the DB9 body style, not DB7.

No, 03 is still DB7... DB9s started in MY05... Perhaps he was thinking "Vantage", as in the DB7 Vantage which started in MY00 and came with a 6.0 V12 in place of the previous SC'd inline-6.

Regardless, the Vanquish is it's own model line, completely separate from the DB-series cars.

Yes, '03 is the last (and best?) DB7 year. There is an '03 DB7 Van. Vol. (Pentland Green over 2-tone forest and fawn leather with green top) around me here in town that drops my jaw every time I see it, it is SO beautiful.

Anyhoo, Vanquish is a very cool car! Meteor Blue, now that's a Bentley color right? Sort of a slate-metallic hue. Never seen a Vanquish in that color. Would be interested to see the pix when you have it.

Fantastic. It is one of my bucket list items to own an AM someday. I think they are the most beautiful cars ever made (at least that I would be able to afford).

Yowsahs! That's a little much but the price reflects it.
2003 is the 2nd model year of Vanquishes for the US.
That's why I asked to see pics of his because I had never even seen one in that color; It's a Bentley paint and honestly, not digging it on the Vanq.
Aviemore or Mendip would be a hotter blue for this car, but at that price how can you really complain?

So how 'bout it, Will? Did you really get the car or will the Dr. have to add you to the list? I'm still giving you the benefit of the doubt...

 

What does that have to do with him being able to purchase a Vanquish? Anyone can modify a iPhone if they want to. His post may have been mis-read about growing up.
