red and cream Citroen 2CV in Kirkwood this afternoon
I am disappointed that Miriam and I plus one other are the only St. Louis partipants at the FCA National here in Elkhart Lake. The other is J. T. with a 340 America and a 250 Europa. There is also a really nice Pf coupe from Springfield, MO here. We will be missing the C&C this Saturday. Better cars here anyway!!! Jeff
I spotted a red 308 conv on long rd and a black 575 on 170 getting off at Ladue. Where are thses people on Ferrari runs? ************* whens track day **********************????
Is there a Lexus LFA running around stl now? I could have sworn I saw a red one driving down I-70 this afternoon.
I don't think that car is anywhere close to production; could be a prototype doing some kind of durability testing, but why they'd be doing that in STL is beyond me. I did see a red NSX on westbound 40 at 270 this afternoon.
could of been this "Mantide" . http://www.ksdk.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=181918 and they are heading west.
Yep, that's exactly what it was! It took us a day, but a friend and I finally figured it out tonight, haha. Don't ask me why I thought it was an LF-A. Also wondered for a brief moment if it was a 458 Italia! Those LED lights, i guess.
That mantide is making all kind of news around town, even the post ran a story about it: http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/news/stories.nsf/stlouiscitycounty/story/77B29ADD4E995A1B8625760B007F8C5F?OpenDocument
saw a black 430 Spider last night in downtown Kwood and a black Maser GT (w/ blacked out windows) in Town & Country this afternoon
So I'm in Chesterfield this morning and decide to swing by the Lambo dealer, and who do I see? Derek Bell! A 5-time LeMans winner just wandering around the dealer. he's in town for a Bentley event this evening. Very nice guy! very cool to meet him.
Hah! That was us rolling through STL... If you want to read up on our adventures so far... ----------- http://bigheaddennis.blogspot.com/ Has photos and updates, though not TOO detailed, as Automobile magazine will be publishing a story about this trip! We also used Twitter to update followers with useless but hopefully amusing bits of entertainment as we go, as well as blegging for help and advice along the way: http://twitter.com/BigHeadDennis If you want to catch up on our trip on Facebook, it's www.facebook.com/pages/Supercars-Across-America/128399133082 - lots of pics and videos and links to news coverage. vty, --Dennis
