Has anyone heard about the Architectural Digest issue on garages that was supposed to come out this month?
AD is running a garage contest along with Maserati. I think that you can link through the Maser site.
This has become one of my favorite threads on fchat!! I've gotten some great ideas for my garage here and I've been adding them alittle at a time. Here are some recent pictures. Post #3601 in this thread has a early to mid 70's BMW 2.8 or 3.0 CS. I wanted to know if anyone knew exactly what year and model this was. I absolutely love it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I believe that is a 1975 BMW 3.0 CSI. Here is an interesting link with some resto pics.... http://www.38csi.com/ That car has been on my top 10 ever since I can remember! JIM
Here is a pic of my current crappy Garage, it is a mess and under construction....I still have to paint and do the finish work. I at least got the body molds out and in storage and the motorcycle is out of the way. I will get photos done once it is all complete it should be pretty nice. Going to create a sitting area over where the art is hanging. But I really want to move so I am torn on how much to do to the garage at this place. What did you use for the floor? I have been looking at this stuff for the DIYer in me. http://cgi.ebay.com/Spray-Instant-Cure-Polyurea-Garage-Floors-Non-Epoxy_W0QQitemZ180394337081QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2a00572339&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 http://cgi.ebay.com/Polyurea-Non-Skid-Floor-Coating-Spray-w-Epoxy-primer_W0QQitemZ180394568695QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2a005aabf7&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14
Those 2 cars are not the same. Not sure what color the one in the picture is but I know the one in the link is Fjord Blue and belongs to Paul Cain. This one also appears to have an open net style head rest (Recaro). The other car has Scheel seats in it. I saw Paul's car at Concours Italiano and it is simply amazing! Just a flawless restoration with lots of subtle yet tasteful mods.
Looks like good stuff. I used Swisstrax snap together tile. Went down in about 5 hours with cutting in all the edges and odd areas.
Thanks - the doors are made to disappear when they close. Part of the 1961 house design. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Haven't seen these over here. Not mine, a tad inspirational but the jet and powerboat more than make up for it Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
