The Milka thread got me thinking...

    Who's better... Marco above Danica?

I don't follow Indy Car so I have no stats... Thoughts...

(I'll try to include a poll but I've never done one... If I fail could a mod please add one...)

this is a "who's the tallest midget" poll. I say Danica, but that's no great praise.

Today, I saw a 2008 Corvette decked out in the Indy Pace Car regalia. When I was a boy, that made sense. Given that Indy is now an all-Honda event, I don't get it. It used to be called the Great American Race. Could you imagine the Great Japanese Race being run in Japan with all-American cars? LOL

Oh yeah, Marco, because of his family heritage, and I'm prejudice toward the Andretti name. It really has nothing to do with Danica because I grew up watching Mario and met him once.

I have to go with Danica. I don't follow IRL much but whenever I do take a peek at qualifying, the starting line up or the running order mid race, it always seems she's ahead of him.

When Marco first arrived I felt he would rise up as a star. Sure, he's the product of his family name. But they've always worked their way through the ranks the way a driver should. I'm a firm believer that Marco is softening from driving under the family umbrella, and that if he ever aspires to accomplish anything he needs to step out on his own and toughen up. Funny how he appears in those razor ads showing him on the winner's podium. Right now, Danica is the better driver.

No, but I did see Duno wouldn't get out of her way during qualifying Sat. Took her half a lap to get around her and there was no tissue throwing this year.

don't care for Indie very much, or the drama played in their series, but I did get two pair free tickets to Sat and Sunday's Infineon event in the stands for this weekend, so.....why not...

can always drink wine and eat a h-dog...not in that order

as for the vote: danica for looks, but not for personality

    marco: for family background

    so: tied

I believe Marco lost his edge after the Indy crash in 2007, in 2006 he almost downed the cow juice. I rank him higher than Danica but he needs to regain his confidence.

guess what: exactly what we had....AND they ran out of wine :?

can't run out of wine in wine country....like running out of beer in SL MO.

race was interesting. Had grandstand seats, and [Duno] should get out of racing INDY cars...had so many drive thrus that people were thinking of getting an autograph for such.

Watching the vintage F1s were nice.
