I know, their P4 is first rate. In fact it is better than the original. Not just because of modern technology, but also comfortwise: One of the big handicaps in the original is roof height, particularly when you wear a helmet. The 917 Kurzheck is beautiful. I sat in a recreation a few years ago and realized how cramped the cockpit is. I'm not claustrophobic (scuba diver), but that cockpit was nuts. Now adding a helmet and 200 mph to it and you got yourself a real night mare. After I climbed out of that car, I was healed. The dream ended right then and there. BTW: That 917 is probably still for sale if somebody wants it.
I don't know if they still have it or not, but D&M Motorsports on North Ave in Glen Ellyn or Glendale Heights has a replica GT40 in the gulf colors too
Ditto....One thing he needs is a brake light repaired so there won't be a shot with it out; too embarrassing for TT. Also, engine is running like crap and TT wants it running good for the show. It needs 3 coils which he doesn't want to replace, so he was told no way, as it's now as good as it will be without parts. Ya just gotta love Tony; his personality is 'infectious' once you get to know him!

To each their own,as they say. IMO,they lost "Panache" with Seraph which somehow did not work for them as well as it did for Bentley. Current Phantom restored it,even if looks a bit cartoonish to some but still,it has the biggest Panache of any other car and it's selling success proves it (especially when compared to dismal sales of Maybachs). I love it....
I've seen a new dark grey California running around river north in the city. Looks good on the street and better than in red imo.
