You can get them here: http://www.worlduph.com/ferrari.htm. You have to call them, they are not listed on the site. The quality is great, but they are not molded. It took some trimming to get in, but they look great.

You are right. They are not the molded one's.

If you need to do trimming you might as well by the yard and get a saddle shop to install it. No reason to pay the quoted $1400 a d the. Still have to fit them. Unfortunately, the way the carpet flows in the footwell, without the pre mold enforcing the bends it doesn't look the same. I've seen it.

I have also done this to my 1990 348 (As I previously also owned a 1992 348).You don't need a new grill just the prancing horse (But ensure you purchase the correct size as there are 3 different sizes available). The pracing horse comes complete with 2 threads and nuts. These line up perfectly to pass through the centre of the original grill. All I did was made a simple backing clamp out of Aluminium. All this is, is a strip with 2 holes in it corrisponding to the location & diameter of the threads on the prancing horse. I also sprayed this matt black once complete to match the black area of the bumper and grill. Simple!

I've been searching through the threads here and this one seems most relevant. Someone please re-direct me if this has been answered elsewhere.

Kai, were you ever able to find a molded carpet or how did you resolve this? I thought I came across another thread where you posted pictures of your interior and everything looked amazing, so I'm guessing you finished the job?

I just purchased a 1990 348ts and have removed the interior to bring the car back to life. The previous owner traded the car in at a dealership (not Ferrari) and someone sprayed leather dye all over the place. Very unprofessional job. I plan to recondition all the leather in the car.

I've found another thread about stripping and reconditioning the leather, but no answer on the carpet question.

Unfortunately I think mine may be too far gone between the stains and sun bleaching. I'm thinking of dying the carpet black if I can't find a better alternative, although I've read changing colors is a no-no.

Also, I'm likely going to remove the mad mouse tracks. The passenger side is working, but the driver side has not shown any signs of life. I doubt I would use them anyway, so might as well convert it. The seatbelts will be replaced as part of this process since they are past their useful life anyway. My point of the mad mouse reference is that I may need a carpet from a later model year?

Thank you in advance for any help. This website has been a great tool where I've been able to disassemble the interior without having to ask any new questions so far. You all have done everything already!

The last show car I built was an Escalade, at the time black carpets weren't an available option, I dyed the carpets black but they never looked a true black, they had no deep lustre, I guess trying to dye an old set would be worse still.
I would advise trying a test patch which lies behind a panel first.

Thank you for both of your quick replies. I'm not sure I want to spend the time trying to change the color over to black with dye when I haven't come across anyone that seems truly happy with the results.

My best bet is probably seeing if I can revive them with a slightly darker shade of the tan or finding a good auto upholsterer.

Kai, your pictures are how I dream mine will come together. I hope my car turns out as well. Nice job!
