Doesn't exist. My old man was president in 1989, he was neither a Doctor nor an F40 owner.

    Me??

Well my name is James, and I have some experence with 355F1's...so I'll take a shot at it...:D

    Buy a 6spd. ;)

    There, that was easy.....:p

    OK, some more thoughts...
The 355 F1 system is a fantastic thing, really, and I owned a car that had a problem, the techs couldn't fix the problem and it was forever being "fixed" only to fault again and go back to the work shop. This was only annoying for me as it was covered by the warranty, but if it were not for the warranty it would have been very expensive..VERY expensive.
But, I understand this experence is not common and most 355F1's are reliable. They are fun to drive but having owned both the 6spd is more rewarding as a driver, you feel more involved.

Both can break, both can be reliable, both are fun.

If I was shopping again 6spd or F1 wouldn't make or break a deal, 6spd would be the preference of the 2 though...

    I like that colour too....

Nice indeed.. but who in their insane mind pays crazy prices like that for minor(ish) options? You could buy several other whole cars for that..

Great pickup for someone else though.. proves yet again how little you get back from optioning up madly unless you're going to keep long term.

He'll have done 18K by then at his current rate. Less than $1 per kilometer for each option, if you think of it that way.

I certainly wouldn't pay $15k for those gold wheels. They just don't look right, or is it just me.
