    Our next event details:

    Woodland Bakery
    650 Shunpike Road
    Chatham, NJ

    NOTE -- Please do not park in the 2 rows closest to the bakery. We have plenty of room in the rest of the parking lot, and I think this will allow the regular bakery customers who are not C&C participants to go about their business. Thanks.

    Date: Sunday, August 23

    Time: 10 am (note later starting time)
    11 am -- depart for drive and lunch

    As discussed last Saturday, we will be starting later because we will be including a drive and a casual lunch for those who are interested. We will be departing at 11 am and will drive through the back roads of Chatham, New Vernon, Basking Ridge, Bernardsville, Peapack, Gladstone and ending in Far Hills. The drive should be about 40 to 45 mins. This will be a slow, leisurely drive through the countryside. If you want to drive at high speeds, this is not the event for you. As for the end point of the drive/lunch, it will be at my home in Far Hills. We are on 18 acres so should have enough room to handle a decent number of cars. Note that, depending upon the turnout, some people will be parking on grass (If it rains, we'll re-think this and perhaps will go to a restaurant).

    Time: Noon -- 2 pm

    Food: Six foot subs, chips, drinks

    Cost: Free

    RSVP: Please RSVP to me by noon on Friday, August 21 if you plan to attend the lunch. I need to know the number of cars so I can plan the parking arrangements and an attendee count to determine the amount of food we will need, so please let me know if you plan to bring a guest (s) to lunch. No need to RSVP if you are not planning to attend the lunch.

    I'm swamped this weekend, but may try to stop by at the parking lot with my daughter in the family truckster (no car seat for my 911 :( ), but cannot attend the lunch afterwards unfortunately.

    A friend of mine let me know about your group and I would like to join you on Sunday for the morning gathering, drive and lunch following along with my wife. We have a 1995 348 Spyder and also live very close to you (Basking Ridge). Is there anything that we can bring and/or need to bring along?

    I just picked up my (new to me) 348 on Monday and I have lived in Chatham my whole life. Much to my surprise and delight did I stumble upon this gathering. I will be there to have fun and compare notes with my other Ferrari brothers. I talked my friend into coming with his girlfriend and bringing their NSX and I used to have a Delorean, so my other friend might be stopping by with his Delorean as well. So far +2 for the lunch if that is ok with you! Thanks again for making this thing happen. What a great idea!! Be gentle with me, it's my first time!!! hahahaha!!!

    Just an update to let you know that we are on tomorrow for our event. For the lunch, we have about 40 cars and 65 people that have RSVP'd. The weather does look a bit iffy, but we plan to move forward anyway. As I highlighted in the original announcement, some people will need to park on grass at my house and, given the rain today it will likely be a bit wet. Shouldn't be muddy, just wet grass. No wet burnouts on my lawn, please. :) See you all there tomorrow.

    Event was a lot of fun. So great to see so many cars of all different makes and models roaring together through the hills of NJ.
