Cool to see them still bringing nearly double their original price.

Will make a happy future owner!

    Don't let Carbon see this!

I agree; the old F50 color Rosso Barchetta is way more interesting than black, with apologies to NNO.

So does anyone know what these sold for? And as Bill S mentioned, an F40 and 288GTO was also listed there?

    Sales #s?

420 for the f40 without commisions is what was reported in the USA f40 thread.

I was at the auction, the Black Enzo did not sell. It got up to 850K bid, but reseerve was not met. Odometer was ~20,000 km. Smelled like the porter roasted the clutch when moving the car within the staging area in front of the hotel.

im not sure about a red enzo... but when i was there (standing outside the fence) i only spotted 1 black enzo and 1 yellow enzo.

then again, maybe i just wasnt there at the right time. or i'm misunderstanding something in this thread

Thanks very much! Always nice to hear a first-hand account of what took place. 850k + 10%. I suppose the relatively higher miles and re-paint must have played a part, still that's 935,000.

No, the only 2 Enzos said to be for sale were black and yellow. However, the black one was originally in a red finish but re-painted.
We had mentioned about an F40 and 288GTO that were listed and I believe both of those were rosso corsa.

Plus, this car was currently registered in france, and if bought by an American a duty would be due to french (per auctioneer). The website says the duty is 2.5%, however, the actual amount of the duty was not disclosed by the auctioneer. Honestly, the auctioneers knew very little about this car, they gave better sales pitch to the older cars. They tried much harder to sell a BMW Issetta for $20K, than this car.

Wrecked and repainted, I don't care, I would literally spend the rest of my life in that car.

    Both cars were not sold:
    132650 yellow 1m not sold.
131631 black (formerly red) 850 not sold.

I don't know who the owner was of the black car was that had a higher reserve than that, but the car was terrible. Awful panel fit, scuffed all over the place. They should have taken 850 and run for the hills.

Had the Black car been DOT/EPA'd?
