    "Buy it now" is 64,999.00.
High for the market right now.

The car has 19k miles and the belts were done at 15k, elapsed time unknown.

Ummm. The BIN is basically 45k as the car has no reserve. It has been relisted several times on eBay without a single bid. I am sure you could own it for 45k.

It is only a few miles from me and the best Ferrari shop on the east coast, Competizione... If anyone wants me to take a gander I would be happy to. I would also reccomend sending it to Competizione for a PPI.

It could be a good deal, but I suspect in this economy it is priced a bit high.

I have been watching this and stunned it has no bids but then again it smells a tiny bit fishy that no one has bid on what appears to be a nice ride right here in our backyard - 10 minutes from my house (ok, 20 with DC Traffic LOL). If someone wants me to go look at it just give me a yell. Be glad to try to set something up.

    Florida? Try VA...

If I hadn't just been laid off, this car would be in my garage.

WoW! I did not expect to see TRs selling for less than 328s. It's a strange and wonderful world.

I don't know why the TR's are unpopular these days. Awesome car, and absolutely gorgeous. A lot of fun for $ 50,000 or thereabouts.

Having no reserve doesn't mean anything. If the bids don't go high enough he'll have a shill step in and close the deal then default rather than sell it for less than he wants out of it.
It will re-list in two weeks and away we go again.

+1 I see this "ALL" the time on ebay. It will repost in a couple of weeks with the seller telling the "Common" sad story about a Psuedo Buyer that defaulted......Mark.

Looking at the engine bay pics I think this car is more than in need of a major, at least.
Did I see rust on the right side of the square piece of metal for the air intake?
Did I see trace of oil on the air plenum just above the clutch?...Mmm...
For a little more you could get a car with a fresh major from a relible vendor.
But hey what do I know?..Just my 2 cents...And canadian is less usa.

I have e-mailed the owner of this car through e-bay ask seller a question twice during two different listings, with a couple of basic questions, and have not received a reply.

because of the repair bills...mine over the last 10yrs have been pretty strong.

Hopefully enough of these TR's get parted out, parts cars, and end up in bad shape to firm up the market for good cars.

WIth 7,000 cars made this will take another 10-15yrs....just in time to hammer the crap out of the other beloved frerrari's that will find the same fate...355s, and 360s. (You heard it first ;) )

I saw this happen with a Maserati Ghibli I was looking at, un-drivable. Bidding started 45k for it, no reserve. The auction went to 46k. The winning bidder happened to be located VERY close to the seller. After looking at the bidder history I figured out it was the guy's father.

The car was re-listed due to default buyer and eventually somebody from Europe bought it based on year-old pictures when it actually was drivable and the rust wasn't coming through the paint..

    Hokey-pokey.

Whenever someone put the miles of the last major and not the time. It means that the car is overdue for a major.
