    OK. so I'm Polish and tried to re-write the manual---------------- Wish I was Italian------------- anyway --I'm the dummy because I didn't leave the timing mark on 1-4----------- After I put the degree wheel on my mistake was evident. I'm sure there will be more questions-- even more lost but running!

    Having worked on most marks I can only say that the lack of a model specific shoppe manual for the 82 308 makes this forum the most important tool in my bag! After getting the valve timing straightened out I came across a one-liner in the Dino manual that clearly stated "with the timing mark at PM 1-4 set ALL FOUR cams to the marks" . Thanks for the support from Lavonia and NZ! still lost
