    Mmmmmmmmmmm..............Pappy likey!! :eek::eek:

+1!! They will be worth nothing in another 12 months! :p:p

I cant wait to see what 430 prices will be like in 12-18 months time when the 458 hits the shores!! :):)

It may pay to wait and see what happens with them as it probably wont take much more money to step into a 430 over a 360. ;);)

i think you're jumping the gun a bit. first a 458 will be $600k, secondly there will be quite a wait for them....so in 18 months time, how much will the next best thing be? (430) The price and relative rarity of the 458 will make sure the 430 price is kept high for quite a while I predict.

My thoughts are that people *now* know the 458 is coming (and mainly what it looks like) and they will get their cars on the market to sell them for top dollar before everyone else gets the same idea. If you understand where I am coming from? :):)

There are already around 30x 430's for sale online. No shortage of cars for sale, thats for sure. I predict more to come onto the market in the next 12-18 months as owners will get out of them before the market gets totally flooded with them. :):)

There have been a few 430's advertised online for under $300K over the last 6 months. These cars are not even 5 yrs old yet and I am sure they sold for less than advertised price. The next 12-18 months will see them come down to the mid $200K's IMO. :):)

Im sure owners can do without a 430 in the garage for the next 12-18 months til the new 458 comes along. I think Scuddy is doing something along those lines as he waits for this new Lambo. :):)

They will settle at $120k for a dog to circa $175k for a peach. It's all about the relativity to models that came before and after in mass produced Ferraris.

There would be anywhere between 400-500 of the 430's here. There will be lots for sale for a long while yet.

I would have guessed 350 - 400 tops - say an average of 60 to 80 cars per year, but it's still a LOT of 430's.

thats quite close to what i was thinking, i figure $120k will sit anyone into a 360 in a couple of years if they dont want specific colour or options.

nah 355's are at about as low as they'll go most likely, seems $120k-$150k is about the range for most cars (im not including your Challenge here PP)

I think the 360 will become a bit of a forgotten cousin like the 348, in its own right a very nice car (actually one of the nicest looking Ferrari's IMO) but less Ferrariesque than the 355, and less performance than the 430, so i think it will be in limbo in the longer term. Not to mention the numbers they made.

however Lotus Elises will become a car park hero amongst the younger crowd, as they can be had for under the $40k in some instances (dependant on model of course), so any kids with rich parents may end up in one.

prepare to see them with neon's, TV's in headrests & sub woofers in every square inch.

The reality of the used 430 F1 in modena guise NOW is that both dealer (authorized Ferrari or not) and private sellers are pretending there is no shortage of money and no shortage of buyers despite the GFC.
I refuse to pay over inflated ego prices and have observed that these cars are not selling well at all but despite this, prices have refused to come down from pre recession near new asks.
There are no deals out there and all those on the market for which there are many of all sorts of 430 offerings are sitting on them electing to let them eat floor plan costs.

What is the point of a 430 in Australia with our speed limits.

but the speed limit on cafe strips is usually 30 or 40ks anywhere in the world, so no different here to anywhere else.

    Yep, useless.

However a Jaguar is a fine choice - impossible to exceed the speed limit in one of those :D

In recent years the Oz FERRARI sales total has been 100-125 units. Assume 80% V8's and a five year 360 model run and you get north of 400.

I,ve had my first ride/drive in a rear engine/rubberband car today.I,m afraid I didn,t find it too different to the Porch I,d like to sell......now I know why.
The car in question is a 348 that has just turned up in FNQ...another thread......
I found it twitchy in the front end...same as
It sounded like a bunch of imature bees at anything over 3K revs
Having now had a go at a RERBC....I,m ok with being an OHOS lover
How many RERBC owners have compared/or had the opportunity???
