For the record, I like F of D. I've always been treated well when I visited. I lived in Denver for over 2 years before moving on. Everytime I went there I was impressed by how friendly yet professional everyone is/was. But what the heck is going on with their website? Their ads now sound like they've been written by Herb Tarlic (from back in the WKRP days ... I know... dating myself). How's this for a classy introduction to a 2009 Scud: "Not driving this car to it's fullest capacity is like forcing Tiger Woods to play mini-putt-putt" Sigh......
They've changed a lot of staff but I had the same reaction to many of the quips. They seem sophomoric. I was going to ask my pal Derek about it. Perhaps he will chime in here. Dave
It's beyond me why you'd take a sophisticated product, build a beautiful showroom and a nice website aimed at presumably a weathly clientele and then describe the products with descriptions more aptly geared at Fisher-Price toys!! If I haven't personally been in the dealership and know differently I'd just hit "next" on my list of dealers to consider business dealings.
Yes. Thought you were referring to more changes. Hopefully Derek will take a look at the site and make some changes so it resembles a class organization not some preschool.
They've completely fallen in the toilet . Heading to boulder for service and elsewhere for purchase seems to be more the norm these days!
Retarded, unwarranted and inaccurate post. Do you have some bias? I don't see that you are even a Ferrari owner.
Having purchased two Fcars from FoD they are great IMVHO. Just went in there to have my oil changed and some other problems taken care of before the FFFT tour. they got me in and out and did an excellent job. And right now they have a very good selection on the showroom. Check it out. They had a blue California Spider that looked great and sounded great. I was afraid to drive it as I might be tempted to buy it! Much better in person than in the photos IMVHO. Life is good.
Based upon??? They have really stepped up their involvement and support of the RMFCA this year. We are lucky to have both Ferrari of Denver and Scuderia Rampante in the front range, both are top notch operations, not many states are so fortunate.
I think "Got Wax" was looking to get a job washing the cars at FOD, and when that didn't work out decided to post in this way. BTW I have had only good experiences with FOD.
"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt." Abraham Lincoln (1809 - 1865)
"It is not advisable to venture unsolicited opinions. You should spare yourself the embarrassing discovery of their exact value to your listener." Ayn Rand (Atlas Shrugged) And for what it's worth, I've never had business dealings with them, but I stopped by FOD a couple of weeks ago and had the pleasure of chatting with Edson, a new salesman there. Both he and Derek were extremely generous with their time, and I enjoyed getting to meet them. They didn't strike me as people running a business into the toilet, or however Got Wax phrased it.
