Any Bugatti Veyron owners in IL?

I was invited to see the factory's car over at Bentley Lamborghini Gold Coast, but I want to see another one again Great car Imo, so are there any owners in IL? What are the color schemes?

 

None that I know of. I'm sure there is one driving around somewhere. There was a Veyron Gransport at the Barrington Concours, but that might have just been a demo car.

 

According to one of the salesmen at GC Bentley/Lambo there are three black ones in the Chicago area. They also sold a white one but I think he said it is in California.

 

A Black/Black Veyron has been seen driving around downtown Chicago.

 

... THREE? I know there is a black one for sale at Gold Coast, I just figured that was the one everyone has been seeing.

 

Yes there is at least one Veyron owner in Illinois.

Here's what I know: 6 currently in Illinois, of which only 3 are plated in Illinois. Of the 6, three are all black. This includes the car at Gold Coast. 4 of them are within 100 mile radius of Chicago, 1 is downstate, and 1 is near Iowa. I'm not sure what ever happened to the last one that Russ had.

 

Saw a red/black one drive past me on LaSalle in Chicago (Gold Coast) although people are saying a black/black on is around the Gold Coast... I think my eyes could've been playing tricks on me...

 

Hi guys, I am from Australia and recently visited your beautiful city, spotted this in traffic, chased it for 4 blocks in traffic to get a shot. No ordinary Veyron either! It had Virginia plates, but as a previous poster mentioned some cars are registered out of state???

Word around the camp fire is a Veyron is on it's way to the Green Bay area by years end.

Grand Sports with Virginia plates, as others have mentioned, are very likely to be Bugatti press vehicles.

NextAutos Magazine based in Ann Arbor drove one recently (http://www.nextautos.com/driven-2009-bugatti-grand-sport%E2%80%94demoralize-thy-neighbor?gid=15135&nid=39923#gallery-15135), perhaps even the same vehicle mentioned above. They are probably making their rounds and have come to the Midwest for now.

 

As mentioned by others, Veyrons with those Virginia "manufacturer" plates are press cars. The reason for this is that Volkswagen North America's headquarters is now in Herndon, Virginia, near Washington DC. Here is a shot from Autoblog's first drive of the Veyron Grand Sport back in June showing two Veyron Grand Sport press cars with the Virginia "manufacturer" plates.

I know the owner of the black car thats been on consignment at GCB. Since VAG corporate is in Virginia all their mfr cars have VA plates.

 

Is it the same black Veyron since 2007 ? I have seen a black Veyron at GCB since late 06.

 

Probably I believe thats when they bought it first.
