    I'm thinking about putting some Yoshields on my 355. Does anyone have any experience with them? Are there any other alternatives that are reasonably priced?

    I'm really worried about them coming off during a car wash or something. Your thoughts are always appreciated. Thanks everyone.

    Bobby, these are well known around here, they are renowned for there quality, don't be worried about them coming off, I believe they use 3m adhesive and are very well stuck on.

    Do a search of this forum, it will reveal plenty of prior threads discussing these. Can't say I remember a negative comment, all positive from memory.

    +1. I did a lot of research, bought some that I ended up returning, and settled on yoshield. They are everything they claim they are. Thin, accurate, and well made. Make sure you carefully measure the location on a 355 with factory shields, in order to position them correctly.

    +1--I went and measured exactly off a 355 with factory shields when I did mine..

    I've heard factory shields are installed recessed into an indented fender. Is this true? If so, don't the stick on shields look a little odd? I put Yoshields on my old 348 but was never sure if they looked right.

    Even with the recessed OEM shields, they stick out a bit. Of course, the stick-on shield is thought to be the best alternative to investing thousands of $$$$ to have your car fenders recessed at the body shop and spend close to another $2000 for the OEM shields. But in the end, it is all about choices and your personal preference.

    Here's a photo of mine. I think they look great.

    The 3M tape is very strong. They definitely will not come off easily. There is a thread somewhere that describes how to remove them. I think it required chemicals, a heat gun, and dental floss.

    Looks like the beautiful and nice setting for the photo shoots!! Of course, the car looks gorgeous, too.

    As for the removal of the shields, do not use the heatgun. Just use the adhesive remover (spray can) and plastic wire for the removal.
